Monthly reminder that Kindred can mark empty camps and Riot says it's intentional

So there is something I called a bug, when a camp can get marked right after it's killed, but after contacting Riot support they told me it's intended.
The "bug" goes like this: sometimes a camp can get marked right after it got killed. I think that during death animation a camp is still coded as "active" so it can still get marked. It's a waste of a Mark as you obviously can't get it. And a waste of time as you have to wait for it to disappear and wait yet another set of time until Wolf can mark another camp again. Keep in mind it can happen when enemy kills a camp too so you have literally 0 chance getting it.
I got 2 clips of this happening to me. One with drake and one with blue buff. Sorry, for imgur quality, but I hope you can see what I'm talking about:

What I got from Riot as a response:
"We did some digging since your last request and it's indented for the Mark to behave like that. It has a "lock on" time during which you can't claim it along with an expiration timer. If the target is killed in between those, it's more unlucky timing since you don't benefit from it. =(
Hope this clears up the confusion on the matter but if you need help with anything else, give a shout and I'll be here for you".
Well, that is just awful and I feel cheated every time it happens and apparently it will never be changed!

IMO, I think It's to avoid your marks giving away information. IIRC, there's a way to predict the order of Kindred's marks and if it doesn't mark a camp that's being killed by enemy jg, you can infer the locations and clear pattern of enemy jg which is abusable.

I mean.. you can use it to throw your opponent off. If you know the camp is empty, the other side is probably safe. You can also set your marks up to gank them if you have someone on the team to help.

Any good jungle is going to make sure you never get a mark. Use that to your advantage.

When I see kindred marks go up, I try to convince the team to set up in a bush and let her start the camp before we gank the shit out of her.

I will try to explain why it wouldn't work to use this to track enemy jungler:

  • You have 3-4 camps across all the map available to get marked assuming you have 1-7 stacks. If more the are only baron/herald and drake and if less only scuttle crab.
  • Let's assume you have 1-3 stacks to make it easy for us. So there is Scuttle, Gromp and Raptors able to get marked
  • You cleared 2 of them, for example Scuttle and enemy Raptors. One of them was marked so let's assume it were Raptors to give us maximum time to prepare. As you just get a stack you know the next one will be ready in 40s and you know there is only Gromp able to get marked
  • So if that Gromp get's marked you go and get it and nothing happen, BUT if it doesn't you know that enemy must have killed it. And what does it tell you? Gromp (just as Raptors, Wolfs and Krugs) respawn time is 2:30, so enemy jungler could have done it over 2 minutes ago. And I'm sure he moved since then so it doesn't tell us much about his position.
  • And this is normal situation which doesn't include this bug anywhere. Now in rare occasion when the enemy jungler kills Gromp right when it would get marked: -- If this bug stays the Gromp gets marked right after it's death and disappear in 10s as the camp is empty. TELLING ME THE ENEMY WAS THERE 10s AGO!!! -- If this bug is fixed the Gromp doesn't get marked at all and I have no idea where enemy jungler is as it could have been as well killed 2 minutes ago
