Why in THE HELL does MF ult scale off of purely AP

WTFMatee··1 votes·998 views

I mean seriously? not to meantion so does her E.

I mean i get it Let's compare her to graves a lane bully with an aoe nice ult..

BUT Her Ult scales only on ap while graves is ad

Now their both lane bullies with strong early mid game damage with a decent late game finish.

But seriously????

cmon now rito you literally made an awesome mf skin recently that no one will play because her ult is more unreasonable than pluto not being a planet.

Make it scale off of ad right now.

I mean graves even has a dash while she doesnt yet her ult can't scale off ad? wtf is wrong with you guys

It indirectly scales off AD through her W.

who cares thats bs damage compared to ad scaling and you know it. Graves in 100% of situations is a better pick. Like i said he has a dash on top of his ult actually scaling.

MF has what? decent Attack damage but it doesnt matter because her "explosive ult"?

Not to even mention that graves ult is instant when mf has casting time that can be silenced or any number of things

Her problem isn't her damage output, it's her lack of reliable escape. You can make her Ult scale off AD and Graves will still be the better pick due to his dash. She doesn't need AD scaling, she needs a way to not be an easy gank.

Graves ult does less damage then MF's at all stages of the game though.

Graves ult 250 / 400 / 550 (+ 150% bonus AD) to the first target hit and even less damage to targets behind that.

MF ult 50 / 75 / 125 (+ 20% AP) per wave, *8= 400 / 600 / 1000 + adds a stack of impure shots (W) (passive of ult adds total number of stacks MF applies from 4-8), which comes out to a additional 6% total AD per wave. So assuming starting at zero stacks it comes out to a 216% Total AD at level 16.

Don't let facts get in the way of your rant though.

stop comparing MF with Grave they are two completely different champions

Ashe shares your feels bro...

because the only issue with MF is her ult...

Not really, her ult is fine (considering it does signficantly more damage than Graves ult), it's her lack of reliable escape

her ult can deal more damage than Graves... it can also be interrupted and be walked out of it's range a lot easier and it's never used in teammfights unless you like dying

Hence why if you're going to play MF, best to use it in wombo combo CC comps and understand when and how to use her ult.

i would rather play Ashe or Graves or anyone other than MF in combo CC comps. MF's ult becomes nothing more than a glorified wave clear tool the instant it reaches rank 2 since it just doesn't do enough reliable damage whereas with someone like Graves or Varus or anyone else you can either blow someone up or have them be CC'd for an even longer amount of time. MF's ult isn't rewarding enough for how much risk it takes since you need to do the entire cast for it do deal any meaningful damage and that's not even mentioning her passive

You could say the same about Vel Koz, or Nunu or any of the channeling ulti's. MF's ulti does massive damage and completely turns around fights, it's up to you to know how to position yourself and work with team. If enemies try to rush you while you ulti (after being cc'd especially) they take the full damage and can often die before they reach you (assuming you're not trying to 1 v 5) if they run away, they take a lot of damage and their engage is destroyed, so your team goes on the offensive while theirs is on the defensive, and with her passive, and ricochet it's hard to escape MF if you're losing the fight.

Graves Ulti is more of an instant mega damage, and doesn't need CC at all, but does need some good timing and accuracy. MF is much higher damage to MANY more target, if used during a minion clash too, you clear enemy minions while your proceed to add to the total damage (which only makes a difference early game or if you have baron or seige minions, but still)

Every champ is different and has times to use them. If you don't want to use MF, don't, if you don't like her how she is, use someone else, there's plenty of people that are fine with her and don't want her to get some SUPER Ulti buff, which would be followed by heavy nerfs in other areas

Nunu rarely ever gets to channel his ult entirely unless the enemy is dumb and ignores him or he is channeling it from a brush where he can catch people off guard while Velkoz's passive actually helps in the damage department and it has a slow attached to it so you can't get away from it as easy and it's also used after a combo from Velkoz himself making his abilities be on CD so he actually does more damage this way than just waiting for his abilities to comeback. MF's ult on the other hand doesn't deal enough damage to justify it's use and although it can technically deal a lot of damage it needs a full channel or close to full to actually do said amount of damage in which time anyone can go and eat her face. MF is in a horrible spot and if you think otherwise you are just deluding yourself but sure go ahead and keep thinking that MF's ult is in a good spot or her in general

It does scale off AD, by applying her W passive to the ult. at level 16 that's a possible 48% AD (assuming you get 8 stacks before firing your ult) every wave for a potential 384% AD as damage on top of the 1000 base.

As pointed out, it does scale off AD: It applies stacks of her W. And it dealing magic damage can actually be a boon since it is a big source of hybrid damage (pretty hard to itemize against.)
