This "I Agree" Bs (power outage)

WTFMatee·12/5/2014, 4:06:18 AM·46 votes·7,417 views

So i have to agree and tell a lie because i clearly have no idea if a power outage or something will happen again.

Seriously this is like signing contract that you can't follow anyway

This is the ONLY game i have left since you implemented this message and it was because of a power outage.

Now i have to sign a lie to reassure yourselves that your "doing something about afkers"

Well guess what

Your not doing jack shit

The people that leave games aren't gonna give a flying crap if they have to sign something

But the people that do care are the people that don't like to lie..

I got disconnected once, then reconnected and finished the game. I still got that stupid I agree window...

Yeah it's pretty disgusting. I haven't left a game in a year but if I did I would throw something having to type "I agree" to never leaving again. That is impossible to actually agree to because, well, shit happens. Especially when you're running on adobe fucking air.

HalloweenDeath12/5/2014, 11:44:58 AM5 votes

If a player disconnects more often then normal they really shouldn't be playing league of legends because if you dc from the game from no fault of your own thats bad for you yeah but it's also bad for your teammates who just lost because you left, no mater how far ahead they are you just cost them the game. I get that if you have dc issues that isn't your fault you shouldn't be punished but on the same hand your punishing 4 other players as well. Stick to normals if you have dc issues. If they stop people with these kinds of issues from playing that improves the game more then letting these unlucky people with the issues play because that 1 player just made 4 other players just as angry as they are.

This agree statement is wrongly placed. It comes because you have had afk, during game , but for my part that was that twice during a COOP VS AI game, my computer crashed twice. And still this message appeared. Rito games. What are you thinking of.

I did not get leave from the game neither. Because I managed to come back into the game.

You have to punish people who leave by their own will , not people that leave by accident.

First of all .

The thing I agreed on is: Not leave game by my own will. But what if something special happen. All electricity in house go down. Internet goes down etc. I can't control that. This is sooo misplaced.

I've honestly never minded afkers as much as I mind feeders, flamers, and toxic inducing trolls Teemo Fizz Trundle Riot never seem to get those people. ignoring trolls and feeders only make things worse. It's just as bad as 4v5 plus you have a guy giving them gold.

plus penalties in bot and custom games is ridiculous

Luckily I just got my heroes of the storm technical alpha key... Time to split focus! Take a break! Peace out!

My internet went down for 3hrs while i was in the middle of a game... when i came back... I had to agree to this Leave Buster BS announcement too... I did not leave on purpose, I didn't chose to rage quit... I was booted out and had to call my ISP, they told me there was an outage in my area and that they would resolve it as soon as possible... how is this my fault?

Nicktoons12/6/2014, 8:35:57 AM4 votes

I don't see why they just don't hire people to actually check reports and actually investigate if the player actually did what was reported. Then check previous games for the same pattern. I've been in so many games with feeders who've had previous games where they've fed a ton in. I don't even feel like reporting even works.

The exact same thing happened to me. My power was only out for a moment, so i was eventually able to get back to the game, but I rarely, if ever, leave a game unless I have a damn good reason to. And I never even start a game unless I know I have the time to play it. I feel like the message should only show up if it's a frequent occurrence, not if it only happens once every few weeks.

First off, I'd like to say I enjoy LoL and support it. However, I do believe this new LeaverBuster system is unfair and bad. Riot employees, have made it through programming so they don't manually have to search for afk'ers. However, it is very frustrating when their client crashes on me (It ran fine before), and I get banned and blamed for being a afk'er. This is like a police officer telling someone to break the law then fining them. Please allow the detection of crashes or "reconnectors" and don't ban them.

Lułu12/6/2014, 8:47:37 PM3 votes

Highly support this thread. The thought of having to type "I Agree" over disconnecting is sickening. I haven't had to type it yet, but that's insanely unfair to ANY League of Legends player. There are SO many factors that you can add in: Power outage, any kind of emergency, LoL error, internet outage, etc, etc, etc. I'd understand a warning screen that said "leaving too many games may result in a time ban" alright, that would be completely fair...but being forced to agree to something completely out of your control? Utter Bull. They really weren't thinking about their players when they made that, were they? I really hope to see this removed/replaced ASAP.

My computer froze up, due to a LoL issue, then kicked me out of League. I reconnected to the game, but my computer froze up again and League kicked me...again. I rebooted my pc and loaded LoL, I received the "I Agree" window. It wasn't my fault.

Leaverbuster in custom games? Does it actually affect customs or no? Bots, Normals, and Ranked but customs? they don't matter

Yellow Katarina12/7/2014, 4:05:42 AM2 votes

Pretty sure leavebuster even gives prompt if you didn't afk but had afk teammates

Drunk Rummate12/5/2014, 2:46:01 PM2 votes

yeah... i left my first game since almost a full year ago a day or two ago and it gave me the message

really surprised me since i dont think i've left a game in almost 8 + months of playing an hour or more daily.

Junkο12/6/2014, 2:05:28 PM1 votes

I was defending base from siege minions while my team was pushing mid to finish the game and i got a warning.

Rito plz

BallisticMouse12/5/2014, 4:52:47 PM1 votes

If you don't have a stable enough connection or a good enough computer to stay in a LoL match then you shouldn't be playing LoL.

It's rude, it's mean but it's true. If you can't run a game you don't play it.

Chances are you lie each time a patch comes out at the EULA agreement anyway. Unless you actually do read and review the terms and conditions every few months.
