Ability + summoner 4 instant chaining makes it literally impossible to CC you before you get said ability off. Since summoner 4 doesn't cancel your previous commands, you can queue your command, then summoner 4 , so the ability will go off instantly after you summoner 4 , if targeted.

For example, Lulu can Polymorph Annie, and since she has ~25 more range, she should get it every time before Annie gets in range to use an ability. But if Annie flashes, even though Lulu can still Polymorph her, Annie will still get her bear and stun off.

Similarly, mid-ability flashes (e.g. Vi, Gragas dash+flash) give you literally no ability to dodge them. Same with charged Xerath/Varus, though Varus at least is a fast skillshot and not instant. I play Cho'gath, and this is pretty essential to getting kills; ult+summoner 4 completely guarantees you the animation start, and once those jaws start, your opponent is taking the damage, even if they reactively summoner 4 .

Daaaamn. I've got to start doing that when they're hugging the turret at low health, then. Sometimes I'm not quick enough to eat them. Now that I know this, I'll have an easier time nabbing those kills. Thanks a bunch!

Invulnerability is arguably the most frustrating mechanic in the game, because it can cancel out all levels of abilities with even mediocre timing. Yasuo's windwall is everyone's favorite right now because it lasts so long, is pretty inexpensive to use, and can flat-out cancel ultimate abilities, skillshots, and auto-attacks alike. However, Fizz and Tryndamere can also be quite annoying. These champions require you to really pay more attention to cooldowns than most champions, as their windows of power and weakness are contingent on them.

Mobility is probably a close second place for most players, so low- to no-cooldown dashes are very frustrating. I'm thinking Riven, Fizz (again), Yasuo (again), Nidalee, Ekko, Kalista. Another example of powerful mobility is Master Yi's ultimate, as it cannot be mitigated by slows (even Exhaust).

But when you start ranking mechanics as OP, things become more grey. Very powerful abilities exist in this game, but the key is in balancing those strengths with weaknesses. I would argue that AOE stuns rank in the top of powerful abilities, because they can render whole teams useless for a time. I am thinking Amumu ultimate, Lissandra ultimate, Sejuani ultimate, etc. I do not think many would consider these abilities to be OP because they are high-cooldown abilities that require good timing and positioning to successfully pull off. If you miss, then it is a major mistake. This mechanic is frequent in the game with other champions too. I think more people become frustrated with someone like Riven having a small AOE stun on low-cooldown.

I do not think that mechanics in the game are fundamentally OP. One could probably fit almost any ability you can imagine into the game. They key is balancing the strength of the mechanic within a champion. I think the relationship of the above examples of frustrating mechanics is that they can render many champions' power useless. Champions cannot have high levels of offense, defense, and utility. Generally, overloaded kits cause single abilities to seem OP, but it's really just a matter of balancing around those key mechanics to make them fair. I imagine this is pretty difficult, which is why it is the subject of much discussion within the Boards. summoner 31

For me it is the ability to block all projectiles for a period of time (Yasuo wall, Braum shield). As the ability to hide behind one of these walls, take no damage from projectiles, and deal damage with your projectiles for all allied champs behind that wall, is in my mind OP. It is essentially a mini kayle ult for all allies who are behind the wall, in a way.

Braum's shield blocks projectiles but he still takes (reduced) damage from them. The first hit is the only one that is completely blocked.

I wouldn't call it OP, but any ability that lets you move around the jungle either for speed boost or escapes are the most useful to have, to me. Amumu Q, Thresh Q, etc.

Tryndamere Ult for me is the most frustrating thing ever. About to kill him? NOPE. Think you can run under turret in hopes of living? NOPE. Silence him so he can't use it? NOPE

What I like to do sometimes is run away, then after a few seconds ignite him so the last tick kills him. Of course doesn't really work if you're playing late or mid game, but early it's pretty funny and works well.

Yeah but unless you flash away or have some form of mobilty he can just slow you and his E has a dash.
