I sometimes find this screw you over if your players arn't very observant, or if you don't have good vision.
I remember one time I was playing Sivir, our team kept getting flanked by the enemy Amumu in the team fight. And no one could peel for me because they already dived the enemy. (and completely incapable of actually killing the back line.)
Though in this example, the enemy did have a larger number of tanks. But that was more reason for them to protect their DPS, instead of trying to burst them down themselves.
