So when are we going to be able to honor an enemy player?

Kinda feels like this idea has been forgotten.

Why do i care? Well i'll put it this way, the other day i had a match were i was the only one doing well on my team, after the match none of my team mates bothered to honor me. I didn't flame or anything. I kinda felt a little sad and forgotten. The enemy team did give me props though after the end game chat which felt a little nice to get recognition. And i've seen the other side of this too, enemy player rocking it while their team mates are being jerks.

Can this be brought back ?

Ya it use to be a thing and i feel like it would only promote positiveness in the game.

When people can play nice and not stand around a Nexus and actually end the game.

Well, that is basically what Riot said the last time they mentioned it:

So in the end we made the call to focus on teamwork right now, including improving the system for 2018, and revisit honoring your opponent in the future.

I've played League casually since Season 5, and I've never once met an enemy who wasn't toxic.

It was removed because the Koreans used it as a badge of shame for bad players.
