What if turrets did more damage closer
The closer you are to the turret the more damage it would do to you. Get nicked by a max range shot by accident and not be as heavily punished as a full on dive to someone right on their turret.
Damage wouldnt be reduced from current levels, but ramped up to like 250% when you're at the base of the turret.
Would reward proper turret juggling aggro too if someone is tanking the shots at max range and not as engaged as those diving, so diving is still possible just less braindead
