Before that it was Leona and Zyra. xD Geezus, the man likes supporting.

Confirmed.
I went through and ADC phase in the first half of the year, including learning Jhin and picking up some old favorites again. Played a bit of top lane too during the off season. Support's what I find most enjoyable though, so come mid year I let myself go back to playing that.
The Alistar play's a new thing however. He's someone I've never really played historically. Got the Hextech skin on a lucky reroll though and figured might as well give him a proper shot. To my surprise been really enjoying him. Normally I'm more drawn to mages and enchanters, he seems to be one of the exceptions to melee supports less often working for me personally though.
So... You go like spam X Champ\role for a little? :x
When trying to ranked climb yeah. I'll play a much wider variety once done with ranked for the year or during the offseason.
So, yeah, same deal as a lot of people.
I see, and I'm the kind of player who "plays what you want when you want" AHAHAHAH
Confirmed.

What about
Nami was one of my projects for last year. She was a champ who on paper should have fit what I look for really well, but I'd never had much luck playing her. Put a lot of games into her and had a decent time, looking to focus on other stuff now though mainly.

Here's an in-depth nami guide I gave for a fellow person in need. yes, I am a bronze 1 but I have mastery lvl 6 on her. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/MAbjlEtB-help-with-nami
You truly cant get better then alistar. The only other supp that would come close is braum and taric
I usually like mages and enchanters, too. The only tank I've gotten into is Braum, actually.

Fair enough! I tend toward ADCs personally but I enjoy supporting too. Its really rewarding and enjoyable!
That said, with as much as you spammed Leona, I'm not surprised you like Alistar too! Conceptionally, I could see him as being a slightly harder but less binary version of Leona. c: I can't get his combos right and I'm too intimidated by him to learn so I stick to Leona. I just have to land the E and I'm good! [slayer-jinx-wink] But my favorites are enchanters like Nami, Lulu, and Sona personally. :D And maybe occasionally Tahm Kench if I have a duo!
Confirmed.

@Meddler I seem to remember having a game with you it it as jungle Zyra. Where you really didn't play too well :X

Any plans to update his animations and VO, or will he be saddled with his launch animations and VO? You guys updated his kit and his model, but his vocals and animations still make him feel like he did on launch like 10 years ago...
I have the weirdest irrational hangup with Knight's Vow. I absolutely hate that item. I don't think it protects me enough, I think every time I link with someone they intentionally stay away from me, I think it's Taric-lite nonsense. It stops me from being the greatest support I can be and I don't care.
I want to peel it off my skin the moment I see it.
Not enough alistar
I'm kinda happy that he plays the game, first hand experience is always the best.
Alistar buffs incoming
