I get burnt out one-tricking

For the most part I have always one tricked Wukong. I have climbed as far as to plat promos using Wukong. When I get burnt out, usually after a few unlucky games in a row, I think about playing other champions in other roles... The thing is that even though I can play at the high gold / low plat level with Wukong, I am a bronze player with other champions. This isn't really the issue though, the issue is I do not find other champions appealing to play. I just don't have fun putting in the work to learn other champions after I have struggled so much to do so with Wukong over 3 years. I have been playing different champions in ranked to try to force myself to do well, but I just feel disinterested in those champions. I don't know if it is just me, but it kind of sucks to be a one trick to this extent.

I used to one trick Poppy and before that I tried to one trick Gnar. Well... maybe one trick isn't quite right as I tend to play Lulu in the Support position.

At any rate, maybe you should consider taking a break from ranked play. Maybe play a Normal Draft, Blind Pick, or Custom game with friends and just build the most gimmicky build possible.

If that doesn't work, maybe consider playing a game other than League of Legends every so often. I personally like Nuclear Throne and Slay the Spire. There's also this browser game called Slither.io where you just keep going until you die.

At any rate, don't apologize for being a OTP. It just means you really like that champion. :)

Have you actually played ~5 games with all other champions? At least the ones that are mechanically complicated? I thought I would hate Fiora personally being a Lux/Kayle main since season 1. Turns out her new rework has been quite fun to play.

Then you haven't found the champion that fits your playstyle yet.

I one-trick Talon but occasionally, I swap over to see how other Assassins play. Find champs that have similar playstyles to Wukong, or are in the same class as him.
