Why do I not see Heimer top as much?

Working my way through gold 2 and I spam Heimer top every time I see someone who doesn't throw minions out the lane. Gnar? Heimer. Fiora? Heimer. Darius? ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ raise your dongers ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ

He thrives on things that can't catch him and need to get in melee range for money. And since you can't start off the game with dead man's plate and hexdrinker, looks like they'll have to either flash or walk up to you.

Jungler comes in? You mean buff delivery service? Why thank you.

And even outside of laning phase, fights are more centralized since bruisers are centralized. Illuminati triangles are love. And life.

He sends emotional havoc to the enemy team.

Enemy jungler dies during a gank to him? He's gonna get flamed all day.

Jungler decides to not gank? Top lane either roams and loses towers or cries under tower for 15 minutes.

Drag siege and no one kills the turrets? Flame the top laner for letting him get ahead.

He throws down RQ at baron and gets a quadra? /ff report this top laner.

That just something you can only inflict by playing such a derpy champion.

Primarily I would say team contribution.

He dumpsters on most top laners. BUT if those top laners manage to get an advantage, either by outplaying, or getting a good jungle gank, they can just dive heimer and wreck his face all game.

And even if he does, he doesnt have as much power TPing into a fight from top laner, as well as he is taking up the valuable top lane position which is generally the teams main source of beefiness for team fights.

He has some usability issues for sure.

Different playstyle that a lot of people don't like.

He's not nearly "op" either.

Yes he can beat Fiora in lane, but come mid-late fiora will scale better and wreck him.

But I love him regardless. Very easy to 1v2 early game against almost all jungler ganks.

2 issues: Weaker after laning phase You rely on their team to make a play on you, which means if they're smart, they'll wait.
