Flash has to go

Since this is kinda controversional statement let me explain you what drove someone like me who likes to think about the ballance of such a game like this.

We are facing mobility creep where immobile champions cant compete with mobile ones either kiting you to death or escaping any situation that does not fawour them.

And some time ago some rioter said that the problem isnt as much about too high amount of mobility in champions but the lack of proper taxing that power.

And most of the ppl agree that champion who can jump around or over walls has to pay for it with something.

So easy fix that comes to my mind after reading this is to A)nerf mobile guys to pay for mobility better b)buff immobile guys for the same effect

But if we take one summoner spell like flash into consideration we are totaly crippled ballance wise if kalista finds a darius she cant straight out trade him bacause once he flashes to her she dies in a second

So if we move the ballance towards immobile guys they auto win cause flash.

Also next thing i would like to hint is that flash is straight out op, it has 0 counterplay and involwes 0 player interaction besides being point and click (it kinda represents old design values where everything was point and click immediate effect). Which caused nerfs to the point where it has 5 min cd which is 1 min more than next summoner spell inline, the only spell that has higher cooldown is rewive whichis totaly unused

It feels more like a toxic relic of the past and cripples champion ballance by making it unpredictable.

While riot likes flash because its a nice #lcsmoneymaker i think that they need to value the ballance of their game over that (my personal opinion is that ballanced game = diversity= better #lcsmoney)

Going back to that example of the Darius flashing onto Kalista, flash is the go to secondary summoner spell, so the kalista could in fact flash out of the darius immediately following the darius flashing onto her

if darius goes flash straight into w he should still be able to get that kalista with e after flash if its mid game she wont atack fast enough to straight out outrun him if its late game he should be able to dunk her at 3 stacks unless she builds extraordinary survivability

You're doing nothing but taking away their one & only mobility.

and why is that a problem ? because anything mobile will out jump them into oblivion while dealing comparable damage and having comparable survivability and why is that ? because we have flash and the ballance wise both are considered even

im proposing this because it allows proper taxing of mobile champions so the immobile ones wont be at disadvantage

as the game stands every champion is considered mobile by default because the have flash, which means that champions who have innate mobility on top of that are granted more power (since everything is mobile by default additional mobility is just a bonus instead of a game breaker)

nerfs and buffs to champions will come naturaly after that and riot has many handless to pull

Flash has a lot more strategic value than you think. The laning phase would become extremely boring because people couldn't go pass the middle of their lane in the fear of a jungle gank. Some champions like Jarvan could simply come to your lane and ensure a kill or two. Flash can also be used offensively. Supports with CC would become suddenly a lot worse (flash ults). Without flash, champions with mobility would become ever stronger.

In other words, it's a terrible idea, the game would become slower pace and a lot less dynamic.

most of the ppl seem to simply dont give a fk about what i write (under every my post i get comments regarding issues i wrote about)

single champions who become a problem were always dealt with swiftly by riot, but what im speaking about is allowing them to even the odds beetwen mobile guys and immobile ones

so if jarwan proves to be a next warwick we will prolly see his e range nerfed fast, but in the end guys like darius and galio will see that little beam of light in the tunnel whey the can stand on par with the rest of the champion pool

No, Darius would become simply a hard counter to everyone that cannot run away from him. Instead of making the meta about flash (which has many uses, offensively, defensively, and can be used to do clever tricks like stealthy baron, flash over a wall), you would make the meta about slows and roots but without the extra strategies of flash. In your no-flash world, if you nerf CC so it doesn't become too strong, then you have a very bland world of bruiser running to people's face and killing them if they can't be killed first.

your darius is another case of easy number nerf which we get every month i suppose

while the rest of your post is indeed logical

but as the game stands the problem is that ranged champions outjump anything they find and arent ballanced propertly because #lcsbig money
