First and last 10 league games of this year

I quit league awhile back because the game got super boring and repetitive. I decided to get back on and do my s8 placements which went pretty well, I went 5-5 and my kda's are in the picture. You can't even really count my 5th loss against me as i went 9/2/7. Anyways i got placed bronze 2 and I just think its really messed up how much the game bases your placement on previous ranks. Last season I had a smurf account that got placed g5 and went 4-6 in placements with no where near as good kdas. It seems like I should've been placed g3 or g2 compared to my smurf account but instead i got placed b2 because the account was b1 last season. I dont really care though cause i dont play anymore, i just think it kinda sucks how mmr works.
