They apparently have around a Bronze 3 mmr while mine is about Silver 3. Hello? I have a 65% winrate the past 20 games while theyve played 3 games and lost every time.
#Why am I getting placed with someone whose MMR is a whole division/rank lower than mine? Im not trying to bash anybody, I'm legit curious how this happened.
Wráthful2 votesthere are times too when the system messes up a bit and doesnt properly reflect the ppl's mmr and some times u end up with player who just made his placements that doesnt have good mmr.
Wráthful1 votesyour totall winrate is 51% not too high at first place and dont catch on pure mmr since only riot knows how exactly that messed up system works. the division is first then its the mmr mate u can get trashes one game and 3 good players that will carry u hard it's a miss or hit system. u cant expect to get good teammates all the time in the end the games are balanced on team mmr average (+ - 50 mmr) so the enemies have most of the times equally bad mmred player. just dont listen to mmr too much.
Red Wreckage1 votesnew players doing placements are around ~silver 3 MMR. OP.GG MMR calculations are not exact, they're just somewhat closer estimate
so even if you've played 500 ranked games and are stuck around silver 2, regardless of game knowledge and experience, you can easily get a fresh new player doing placements in your team in ranked games.
