HEAR THE COMMUNITY RIOT: Dynamic Queue
We don't like dynamic queue, we've said it since day 1. Please listen to the players and bring back solo queue! Let the community decide what they want!
Season 6: The beginning of the end of League of Legends.

Upvoted and signed.
Bring back solo queue
Can we get a real petition going? So many people saying signed.
Seems like I and a lot of other people aren't part of the community then. If we are: Speak for yourself.
you speak for yourself
i mean he kinda just did.
Seems like I and a lot of other people aren't part of the community then.
Apparently not of a majority at least.
But hey, if you want this game to be tailored to the whims of the few instead of a majority, have fun...because the only thing that will result in, is loss of playerbase :D
Vocal majority =/= Overall majority
Get this into your head, those complaining are a fraction of the overall playerbase
You can make a vote-poll with 2000 people to approximate the outcome of a 6 choice presidential vote in a country of 9 million people. And the fewer choices, and the less important the exact numerical, the more accurate the approximation becomes.
We face a 2 choice question here. And given that you, and the rest of your pro-dynQ buddies are here, shows that "board usage" is a sufficiently well functioning sampling process.
Whether or not you like it is irrelevant. Statistics work.
[zombie-brand-facepalm] Please stop, you are embarrassing yourself...
No, I'm embarrassing the people who pretend to speak for a majority, when all available data says otherwise :D
[slayer-jinx-wink]
Be delusional if you want it to be. A few thousand isn't the majority of what? 12.5 million active players? At least not in any sane persons book.
A few thousand isn't the majority of what? 12.5 million active players? At least not in any sane persons book.
A few thousand people are also not the majority of a country of several million.
And still, vote-polls give accurate results.
(called sampling and statistics)
Bad argument is bad.
National votes are announced and EVERYBODY knows about them. If only a few thousand ppl vote then the result has a respectable outcome.
And then there is the delusional player that thinks a poll the majority of players have no clue about its existence has any statistical value. It hasn't. So don't bring that idiotic BS up again.
Its so adorable. Facing superior arguments, all that's left to you, is this tone of conversation :D
I am done here, you may have the last word to create the illusion of being right, because lets face it: Given the data, that's all dynQ supporters can cling to these days ^^
IMO anyone who supports dynamic queue is either getting payed to boost people legally or is that guy who was bronze 5 for 4 seasons and plays janna with his buds in plat, and gets impressed with himself because he warded the right spot and then pressed e then ran away and watched his diamond 1 or master tier adc main friend 1v2 their bot.
I play solo and I support DynamicQ. Your point being?
well i didnt say you had to be boosting man. you could be a booster as well!
legit all season 6 i have just played ranked like its normal draft im on a mission to master every champ in the game rn man. i dont even try hardly and i aint sayin i should be high rank. im just saying i dont care what rank i am like i could be bronze 5 and still get the same enjoyment out of dynQ if i was silver or gold this season, well technically i was at the very beginning of season when i thought soloq was coming out i got to like silver 3 from b5 placement in like 8 days.. or soemthing haha now im bronze mmr and i mean it doesnt bother me. i aint ragin just laughing everygame and spaming mia pings.
you just a bad lier who think is right about everything in life we encouter alot of moron like you don't worry we know ur a bullshiter
reality is perception! i dont believe in elo hell, if im a silver 3 player in my eyes i should be able to win 80% or so until silver 3 and thats what i did haha. i dont care though. i literally am having so much fun playing random picks and practicing cs while im purple side and then just looking bot seeing riven tp to a pink ward in purple tri and ultis in like IM RIVEN and ali knocks her up and she instadies hahah or of course, she could get the kill. flash out and my bot lane flames. either way i laugh so hard irl and do 1-2 mia pings and keep csing
Haha :D Sorry, had to write here again my friend ^^
Its amazing how deeply the despise of DynQ runs among the community...I mean, even here, in our half off topic converstaion, the supporters of soloQ find time to upvote me :D
Feels good to be right man :D
Actually in any statistic, it should be known that the most passionate people are the most vocal and passionate is generally assumed in a negative fashion. It's more likely people on the boards will complain about the problems than to praise the good. I'm personally don't a huge fan of dynamic queue but it'd be wrong to say this is an accurate representation of the community. Whether or not the boards are an accurate measure of the community opinion, it's doubtful people who support dynamic queue would come onto this page since it's about one of a million boards complaining about dynamic queue.

Really? Then what is Maddie here doing? What are the others who show up in EACH AND EVERY THREAD doing?
The fact is my friend: The supporters of dynQ show up just as much. Only, there aren't that many of them :D
I've noticed that you're a solo queue hater or a dynamic queue lover or whatever and you're salty that you're part of the minority that you want to proclaim as a majority. Given you type the same BS here, I will quote here what I've replied to you in the other post:
LMAO. Let me teach you something Sir. It's called logic. I'll try to make it as simple for you as possible, using elementary maths.
Let's say there's a community that is consisted of 1000 people. Let's say that of these 1000 people, 100 visit the community's coffee >shop every day.
In this coffee shop, 50 out of the 100 people there tend to be vocal, expressing their opinion, be it one way or another.
Summary:
Total population = 1000 People visiting the coffee shop = 100 Vocal people = 50
Let's say some event happens and let's say that it affects everyone in the community. Everyone forms an opinion about it. Let's say for the purpose of this example that 650 people don't like it and 350 do.
What happens in the coffee shop? Let's say that it goes in perfect analogy (which might not be the case), and that out of the 100 in the coffee shop, 65 don't like it and 35 do like it. Let's go to our vocal ones who scream and argue loudly in the coffee shop. Using an analogy again, it's probable that 32-33 (65% of 50) of them would not like the event, 17-18 of them would like it.
Now let me tell you what you're saying. "Just 32-33 people out of 1000 are screaming for the event. They are a minority". Well DUH. Guess what.. Even if all 50 of them screamed, they'd still be a minority.
Even worse, you're implying that those 32-33 people are the only ones in the 1000 which consist the whole community who don't like it the event. Can you understand how irrational that sounds? Just because the rest of the 900 aren't going to the coffee shop at all, doesn't mean they haven't got an opinion. Just because it's not expressed, it doesn't mean you get to claim them as people who like the event. No, the truth is that if the majority of vocal people seem to be agreeing then the majority of all the population is most likely agreeing too.
I trust you will be smart enough to take this example and apply it to our case. Just replace the community with the people who play LoL, the coffee shop with the boards, and the vocal people with those who come to the boards and actually interact/post/express themselves.
You've lost. Good day Sir.
This is logical but doesn't apply to LoL. Because those not complaining are most likely ingame right now. Your argument would be right if all those NOT vocal about it wouldn't play LoL at all. Thus you lost there.
Really? That's the argument that you use back? That those not complaining are in game? What does that prove? Dyrus plays so many hours per day yet he has said time & again how he is opposed to the dynQ concept. Yet with what you're saying, you seem to be claiming that he is a pro-dynQ fellow like yourself, because he plays the game. Guess what, lots of us keep playing the game. That's because there's NO OTHER ranked option available. You assume that because people keep playing are all dynQ lovers? Please. L-O-G-I-C.
He said he dislikes DQ so I count him to the SoloQ players. As well as a lot of other players.
I am talking about those that NEVER mentioned a thing about DQ.
No, I'm tired of people like you twisting their words when they lose the argument. You said:
Your argument would be right if all those NOT vocal about it wouldn't play LoL at all
Now you are taking this back. Go argue with someone else.
How am I taking that back? Care to explain?
I said I count Dyrus to the SoloQ players because he IS vocal about it. All those other players are NOT vocal about it. Those players (the NOT vocal group) is mostly ingame playing the game.
In no way was I ever twisting your words, you on the other hand try to make me look bad by twisting MY words.
OK let me explain more thoroughly since you wish to focus on my Dyrus example in the wrong way:
Given that someone who's vocally in favor of soloQ like Dyrus keeps playing the game, given that lots of people who are vocally opposed to dynQ like Froggen keep playing the game, given that lots of friends of mine and people I know who are not on any boards or Reddit hate dynQ and yet they still play it because it's their only option, you can't come here and proclaim that:
Your argument would be right if all those NOT vocal about it wouldn't play LoL at all
Of course there are lots of people who are NOT vocal at all, STILL play the game, yet PREFER soloQ.
And there are loads of people who play the game because they have fun in said game and it doesn't matter to them what kind of queue they play in.
The argument "a lot of people prefer soloq" goes both ways, because "a lot of people prefer dynamicq". That's not an actual argument, it's only noting one side of a comparison
I feel like I'm arguing with 12 year old. Instead of focusing on your argument just being destroyed, you choose to evade the essence and type something irrelevant. Of course there are people who don't care what queue they play in. Of course there are people who prefer dynQ too. You are the living example of that. Yet that has nothing to do with what we've been saying.
I feel the same way about DynQ haters man. They got no point. The only time DynQ is a problem is in high elo. Nowhere else.
I take that back, checked up on your profile. No ranked games this season whatsoever but complaining about the system. Great experience in a system not even used. Most DynQ haters got no point because they haven't really played ranked this season.
Of course. I try to make a difference by refusing to play something I am philosophically opposed to. My problem with DynQ is the unfair ranking system. I don't have to play it in order to comprehend and deduce whether its fundamental logic is flawed or not. Solo MMR and group MMR can't be combined, end of story.
You know what's the saddest thing though? Your points have been destroyed so many times with concrete arguments, you have been proven to be wrong, and now that you have nowhere to go, you try to make it a personal assault on me based on whether I've played ranked or not this season. You should go into politics and be that dirty guy who tries to put detectives to research his opponents past in order to find that he had visited a whorehouse once, using that to bring him down because when it comes to actual arguments and opinions, he can't win a single debate.
I dislike dynamic queue for ranked play because there will always be an asterisk next to that ranking. Did you get there yourself or did you get there as part of a group or three or four or five? These aren't the same styles of play, and don't reflect the same skill levels.
Say you've been playing with friends the entire time, and have finally reached Diamond with them. As a group, your elo is there, at Diamond. You've been playing against other groups (according to Riot) and so have risen through the "group" metagame. Try playing Shaco or Nasus or Darius against a communicating, focused group. You'll quickly become useless. Many of these champions don't work like they do in a true solo queue, because they're very easy to shut down and kite together.
So now that you're diamond, you figure you want to try to go even higher by yourself - but now you're not in a group, you're alone. The metagame is different, and more importantly, the games are different. If you're actually at the diamond or higher skill level, you won't see much change. However, if you're actually low-platinum in level, you'll find yourself getting crushed by superior skill and you will find it much harder to survive and get carrier by your higher-skilled friends. You'll drop in elo as a solo player.
True Solo Queue doesn't have this asterisk. You get to an elo by your own skill, and not by that of others. If you solo in Dynamic, you still run the possibility of playing with and against groups of three or four, and that asterisk remains, only it's even more convoluted now - solo queue style and team style are merging into the same game? It doesn't work. For the sake of competitive integrity, I dislike dynamic queue as a ranked system. It's a ranking that won't mean anything. I think the system is absolutely fine for normal play, and should be actively encouraged in that department, but for ranked laddering it's honestly an insult to solo players. It says, you're not worth our time. Only groups.
The biggest problem is that currently all of the solo players and the group players are currently forced into the one queue. I personally just want to play solo queue to prove my skill level. I'm fine playing with friends and carrying/getting carried, but it's not how I want to be judged. I want to be judged by my skill, not my friends'.
Fuck DQ
This guy managed to describe the entirety of Season 6 in just 6 letters.
Ah yes. Just as Season 3 was. And season 4 And Season 5 Now 6.
Worth noting: Reddit/Boards make up....maybe, if you're lucky. One million players. League had (last reported) 64-ish million players worldwide. Let's assume the number is still true. Let's even be nice and assume every player has a second account so it's more like 32 million. (It could go up or down but whatever)
Reddit and boards would still make up 3% of the community. So let's not get ahead of ourselves and say "OMG THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY HATES IT" when we really just mean the vocal majority of 1-ish% of players hate the idea.
You are correct. That's why instead of whining, you should try to offer compromises and suggestions(I even sent Riot Socrates a mail! :O ), but at some point understand that Riot doesn't want my business anymore and that's fine. There are enough games out there to play and enjoy, I just gotten into Paragon and i like it.
The problem is they still need to collect data to fix all current issue in DQ, each fix need new data so even if you want a compromise it isnt that easy because you will slow down the progress in return.
Now if u want to reduce the number of boost elo they are better to add a rules as example you need to win X game in normal with each player you want to queue in rank.
So they released a system that at best can be called in an "Alpha" made us testers unwillingly, then 4-5 months later the system is still not Release Candidate ready. I gave them a nice long grace period, they lied during it to a very passionate part of the player base in return.
The game's target audience has changed, i am not faulting them doing so, but it's time to move on.
Although I disagree that this is the end of LoL(because that's been said multiple times throughout S3 through now), I agree that SoloQ really needs to come back.
because that's been said multiple times throughout S3 through now
Point out one other change to this game, that had even remotely the negative feedback, and influenced such a large number of players negatively, as dynQ.
There are none.
Juggernaut patch. I rest my case.
"waaa waaa waaa I have no friends bcuz I'm an anti-social melodramatic whiner, and now I have to make friends and work with a team to play this game"
Stop pretending "the community" agrees with you. Dynamic Queue is great for those of us who can get along with other people and are capable of making and keeping friends.
People you've never met IRL and who you only interact with on one game are friends now? Standards just keep plummeting lower and lower every year.
i have a friend who "lost" his wife to an internet friend.... the trolling is real
These hoes aint loyal
Ultimately it really doesn't matter what is thought or said here.
The outspoken against dynamic queue have a love for the game and want to try and help riot see the mistake they are making. But really its all just words.
There will be a significant impact on the game as a result, and maybe it will also impact Riot's bottom line, or maybe not. What attracts players and what attracts spenders will have some overlap but ultimately aren't the same things. It's going to take a while for these changes to ripple through the community, once whatever the outcome is starts to solidify, and those effects to be felt on the Rift.
For me, I've found that these changes have stifled the spirit of the game. People are too nervous to talk, and there's no longer a set of expectations you can take with you into ranked gameplay, given the unpredictable performance of premade groups.
So if you can't have fun with the people, and you can't focus on playing the game, what's left?
Riot has their goals, which I think are good ones for the most part, but how they are going about it seems backwards to me.
