Shaco never fights fair, and usually when a Shaco comes to kill you, it's because he's ganking you. Fighting a 1v2 if you're not a sufficiently beefy Darius or Renekton is usually suicidal.
Also, waste what summoners? The smite that he is using to help kill you, or maybe the ignite that he is also using to help kill you? These summoners are used to kill you, if he kills you, it's not a waste.
Akenero1 votesIf you're kiting him, you're going to take more damage, yes. Depending on mechanics, kiting him can be super safe, or suicide.
JayHog19921 votesTry to kite him, use some CC on him if you can, if all fails, fight to the death. If he's wounded, he won't show up to gank again anytime soon.

Riot is dead silent on anything regarding Shaco. They know he needs a gameplay update, but have been unwilling to devote the resources needed to do that and keep the champion's appeal to the core player base.
