with great teamfighting as well. can delete your squishie in 0.25 seconds. and iirc rengar was nerfed for similar things. death recap. 1700 damage taken in 0.21 seconds

okay. lets ignore everything

wasn't rengar nerfed really hard because of this 0.1 seconds kill bullshit. why wasn't annie changed in the rework.

and shes obviously not a noob champion as she has the 3rd highest winrate in mid plat+.

you can play leblanc delete people 0. 0.8 seconds or so. and suck in team fights. or you can play annie and one shot multiple people as an assassin and in team fights.

unless your assassin rework is gonna include a 4k hp talon/zed taking a second to kill people. then annie is gonna be the best assassin that will come out of the rework. nobody can kill people as fast. as easy and as reliable as annie. and shes a freakin burst mage with a %damage reduction shield

let me ask you a question. do you freak out more when someone calls annie MIA or Zed MIA. Thank you i KNOW THE ANSWER.

how am i supposed to react to annie stunning me out of a bush or flash and instagibbing me and everyone right next to me. its not the same thing no? rengar does not have an escape. he sucks in team fights. falls off.

am not gonna take 1.8k damage in .21 seconds from an annie that has rylais. abyssal protobelt and roa. she has like 3.2k hp.

I hear MR works very nicely. There are multiple AD items that have it too that you give up almost nothing stat wise to buy. Like Mercurial Scimitar and Maw of Malmortious. Merc treads are also an option. With all three you have 130 MR plus whatever your runes give and a shield. You aren't getting instagibbed by an Annie at that point.

If you are playing an AP champ, you offensive options are more limited. Abyssal and some hp are your options. Abyssal + RoA or Rylais is about right.

TLDR, if you are getting deleted by Annie, you have made poor item choices and deserve it.

U ward bush? Annie doesnt have invisibility or huge movement speed. Rengar gets tank stats from W and heal.

rylais isn't great on her, and she most likely has 0 armor. IF you build MR then that 1.8k damage will just keep going down.

the entire forum was complaining about zed. for mostly. valid points. however its okay to have annie be this don't interact with her at all mid laner that can nuke your whole team out of existence.

yeah lets me build mr on my ziggs as 4th item so i do no damage and annie still nukes me because one mr item doesn't do jack shit against a champion that one spell chunks half the health of a squishie

So, you are playing a champion that badly out ranges Annie, choosing to ignore RoA/Rylais/Liandrys which while not really core to Ziggs, would prevent you from being straight deleted on the off chance she does do something like flash+proto belt from fog of war (Ziggs has flash and satchel), and then complaining because you played badly enough to actually let her near you.

bruh. bruh item 3001 item 3060 item 3026 They aren't optimal items but it's a lot better than being one shot.

oh and BTW it does do a lot. Abyssal gives 60mr. 60 mr on ziggs is going to give you 20-30% damage reduction. Per spell. That's pretty huge.

Well you react by respecting her distance well and being ready for her tibbers and warding.

She's susceptible to ganks in lane, especially early. She doesn't have innate health sustain and poke champions can just out range her. Just watch your spacing. If you're bad with spacing you're bad against Annie.

Banshees veil makes her engage very difficult, and QSS/Zhonyas makes it much less successful.

Exhaust is good against her. Her combo is fast and you can exhaust her mid cast if you're quick enough even if she flashes (used to do it all the time when she was popular support).

Judging by your last match against her - it seems like this is what happened. It's also worth noting you could've built better. You went for Morellos and for the hextech GLP. You did not need that much mana. If you wanted a health item - Rylais is great (especially against annie as she can't walk to you).

Or that item they made especially for her. Or a Kled ult. Or a Malphite ult. There are a lot of possibilities. The point isn't even about when she can engage it's that you can't engage on her either or the same thing will happen.

Seems like the issue is with hard engages, not the follow up.

That item they made especially for her, has a range of only like 300, and is fairly telegraphed.

She's also one of the best bruisers in the game.

AP scaling shield with 40% damage reduction? Even tanks wish they had that kind of low CD mitigation. The fact that it does damage is just icing on the cake.
