Do people actually think a tank meta makes teamfights long, fun to watch and "tactical"?

Because the last "big" tank meta I remember, minus the Grasp + item 3068 item 3065 item 3025 thing, was when Cinderhulk was op. And back then games had nothing to do with strategy, it was just about who had more tanks and could mindlessly dive your backline with too strong defense + offense + mobility/cc.

How can anyone want that back, a fed and overpowered tank can just walk into your team, position like a potato and win. A fed and overpowered assassin cant just oneshot your entire team, he still has to play smart and carefully.

I like when 1-2 tanks per team is viable, but I dont like when there are at least 3+ tanks per team and every game is decided by who has more of them, which is basically lethality champs right now/last patch.

People just want the most drastic change.

I'd prefer longer teamfights that make protecting ANYONE even worth it.

Why are 5 carry comps winning games? Because you have to kill 5 people to win the teamfight, unlike the old "kill the mid and ADC".

I mean Id like that more too but a "tank meta" doesnt fix that. In a tank meta Zac is the one that just oneshots your adc and while it might be a bit slower, it has less counterplay than assassins who are at least killable..

A fed and overpowered assassin would just casually click on people, and they would die.

The purpose of balance is that everyone is overall-y equal. When you have a bias that insists 1 type of broken is completely better than another type of broken, then I'm sorry, the balance has been broken.

Kat is overpowered, and when she is fed, yeah she can just press a few spells and a carry dies. But heres the difference: If she makes a false step or Es into your team, she is dead 99%. A fed tank doesnt give a fk about your team lol.

A fed tank is still kite-able as they are. They just won't die and live long enough to see you die first.

Note: I'm referring to real tanks, not bruisers and fighters etc because they are a bit messy that's why Riot is working on class updates for them atm.

I remember when I abused Seju, Zac and Naut jungle with cinderhulk. Didnt seem very kiteable to me..

Not on an individual level because tanks are supposed to have more CC, but on a team scale, yes, because they generally don't have reliable or spammable mobility.

Yeah so the only counterplay to tanks was to "kite" them with like 3-5 people, which is pretty hard when defense is too strong and you have no damage.

It's just as bad as fed assassins gibbing out people from no where with 0 chance to retaliate due to how fast you grey-screened, or fed AD carries right-clicking people to their doom without any counterplay.

A fed tanks is not innately any more frustrating than the others. Being fed is supposed to be frustrating to deal with for the losing end.

But then again, balance is supposed to be here so none of them are too frustrating to deal with.

He is because the others are killable. Id rather play against killable cancer than unkillable cancer tbh lol.

Not when you always die in 0.1 seconds when you're up against them, or have flat out inferior stats and 0 chance of actually winning against them due to drains and crits.

"Killable" and "unkillable" cancers are both cancers, because they are all practically unkillable, or at least very hard to.

It's not a "which cancer is better" question, we don't want cancers.
