Watch & Earn Challenge

RESOLVED!

I didn't know about this challenge until today.

I watched the re-broadcast on YouTube yesterday.

I have actually started the re-broadcast on YouTube today and the client is trying to direct me to LoL Esports, .. which seems to be using Twitch broadcast.

Maybe I'm not seeing it because I don't really watch on Twitch that much, but it looks like I can not scrub through the playthrough. I don't have time to watch the whole event in real time. I work 10 hours a day and I need to sleep.

Am I missing something here? .. because this seems unnecessarily difficult if not impossible for my schedule.

What are the requirements to complete this challenge?

I received a chat response from, the amazing, Vaermina.

It turns out that you only need to watch about 10 minutes of either the Live broadcast (NOT REBROADCASTS) or one of the VODS videos.

There should be a message at the bottom of the screen that says something along the lines of "set up for rewards"

I have received the completed challenge.

I actually didn't get a confirmation if there was a way to retroactively receive the reward for yesterday, .. but I'm not even certain that this is a daily challenge. I'm still looking for someone to verify this for me. .. or I will just find out if the mission resets tomorrow. Either way, .. worst case, I miss out on an extra 15 tokens. Oh well.

riot fucked up the game to the point where no one watches worlds anymore so they have to try and force you to do so :^)

But they didn't.

In fact, .. if you actually understood my post, you will notice that I watched them without knowing that I would get rewarded.

My concern was more that I wanted to receive the reward for something that I already did.

I was wondering that too... Do we have to watch it live or can we just watch a rebroadcast, live is hard for me to watch as well.

I think I might have figured it out. (Of course, after I make the post)

The VODS tab has the games available individually.

I'm still curious what the amount games, or the portion of each game I need to watch to complete the challenge.

I still don't have time to watch all of them.

Follow up: (sorry for the double reply)

I have received credit for the challenge after having watched one of the videos through the VODS tab.

I did also submit a support ticket with a screenshot of my watch history on YouTube, showing that I did watch the Day 1 rebroadcast.

Theoretically, someone might have received my ticket and is tinkering in my account and they already granted me the challenge as a result of that, but I think it is just that it took some time for the client to register that I am watching the video.

I also requested in the ticket that they give more details about the requirements for this challenge.

I will update my post when/if I hear back.
