Udyr doesn't have weak ganks
It depends on what he's ganking and the skill level.
At Diamond+, he flat out cannot gank 1/3 of the roster unless he catches them with their virtually all of their abilities on cooldown, cannot gank another 1/3 unless they're completely unaware prior to him entering the lane, and has very good ganks on the other 1/3.
I would agree that his ganks are overall weak, because his mobility is entirely tied up in a mediocre movement speed boost. If he could more reliably gank at least half of the champions in the game, it might be different. Kayn can gank pretty much any champion effectively.

Udyr can't even clear the entire jungle on his first path unless he takes Phoenix, which is not a good decision and stifles his early game, which is where all of his strength is.

Infernape1 votesKayn clears fast so he can skirmish to stack his passive. If he had a slow clear he wouldn't be worth picking. As soon as he transforms the game would be over.
Kayn before he transforms isn't the best champion outside of clearing the jungle.
