[Thing on PBE] Quinn range and movespeed change

So Quinn's attack range has been brought up to 550 from 525 and movespeed lowered to 330 from 335 To me I think this is a bad idea... now I play Quinn as adc and her harrier passive does tons of damage if you can combo it, and thats why I found 525 range understandable but giving her the same range as other adcs means she can a lot easier apply her harrier passive and combo it making it pretty bad... movespeed I don't think will be too noticeable especially when you get into mid game with like statikk or phantom dancer or w/e...

Now for top lane this will be even more nightmarish, I don't play toplane Quinn but I know that she can hard counter many melees with her range and giving her even more range will just be bad to them

I just think that Quinn should keep her normal range and movespeed :/ What are you're opinions?

Toplane Quinn counters a lot of melees really hard because she can attack them forever without them having a chance to retaliate. The fact is, against melees a 25-range difference isn't going to be a big deal - range is range, and what makes her dominant is the fact that she can also use her E to escape.

Reducing her movement speed makes it slightly more likely that a melee champion, once caught up, will be able to stick to her. It is a slight nerf to Toplane Quinn (though imo not a huge one).

The 25-range difference only really comes into play when dealing with champs who have comparable ranges, ie. in bot lane. Quinn has a bit of poke, but that difference basically meant that anybody other than Graves, Lucian and Sivir could poke her back by just autoattacking for free. She has a buttload of burst, but that burst doesn't mean a thing if you can't get at them to make the finishing blow count. Having 525 range is the reason Quinn is a "niche pick" right about now.

...I'll freely admit that bringing her up to 550 takes away a big weakness of hers, but it doesn't take away ALL of her weaknesses. ADCs defined by range will still be able to poke her. Most of the "classic" ADCs will easily take her in a sustain-war, since she doesn't have a reliable (or powerful) AS steroid compared to, say, Tristana or MF.

I expect that if this change goes live we'll see Quinn FOTM for a while because she probably WILL be a little overtuned. Still, it narrows her list of bad matchups, and that will make a huge difference in terms of letting her see play.

idk top Quinn a lot so I see yah there but it allows her to play the lane normally and not get poked out when it comes to bot lane, to easily retaliate to poke w/e and once she can get a few items she can pretty much beat everyone [pretty opinion but this is from my experience a 2 item Quinn can beat pretty much any other 2 item adc, calling for the rather sometimes bad lane phase(except urgot hes OP and scary)]

as always, everything on PBE is tentative. Sometimes they change stuff just because they want to see on the table what happens, and in the case of Quinn the changed a lot of times either increasing or decreasing range.

Nice opinion xD

As long as her Q is a skillshot and Vault is borderline suicide to use in lane, she should be fine.

AFAIK, she's the only ADC in the game to not have seen play in Season 4.

She needed some buffs

Now, if only we could buff her ult's execution damage...

I would prefer her bugs fixed, maybe clean up her AA animations but I'll take what I can get. At least she's getting attention now after 2 years. 550 seems reasonable for the risks she puts herself in, the ms nerf means nothing when you have a steroid that is pretty much up most of the time.

I like it. It might end up making her OP though. That move speed nerf is nothing... and then she gets move speed increase from her passive plus her ult is insane extra move speed anyway.
