Veigar E also sometimes cancels Sion R.

The reason it can stop Sion's ultimate is because Sion's ultimate is a channeled ability. Irelia's ultimate disarms enemies, which stops channels and basic attacks. Irelia's interrupt doesn't count as a form of crowd control so it actually makes sense from a logical stand point that she can cancel his ultimate with hers.

Edit: The wiki does define it as a removal crowd control, so perhaps I'm wrong in stating that it's not counted as CC.. but it is designed to cancel channels such as Lucian and Vel'koz ultimate.

I've experienced something similar with Vel'koz. Irelia managed to interrupt my ult channel with her ult somehow.

Cause it consider a walll....veigar stun wall stop sion ult if vegiar is enemy on same time his stun wall box stop sion.
