Help me learn Xin TOP

Hi guys,

im trying to expand my champion pool to top lane. I need something that can hard carry games, but mechanically simplistic. So i decided to start learning Xin on my smurf.

What are good builds for him, who does he counter and how much early kill pressure does he have? I rarely win lane without jungle help/lvl 6 is xin the type of champion that can get lvl 3,4 kills and snowball? Also ive tried damage builds on him and it doesnt scale well at all, which was surprising. So far the best thing ive build has been almost full tank. what do u guys think? as usual plat+ opinions only, bronze opinions are more worthless than the dust :0)

Build him Tanky, try to get as much CDr as possible

mained him last season, he does snowball hard just that playing him is bit tricky, you really have to know when to go in if you build him full damage, but builds like that generally dont work, mages blow you up quickly, most success i had with him is building somewhat tanky with him item 3071 item 3078 item 3143 item 3065 item 3111 and item 3110 or item 3190 or item 3153 cdr is great on him with Q flat cd reduction and max cdr your stickiness is absurd enemy is either in air or slowed by your E.

Time your engages and commit to it to the end, you go in and stand your ground because there is no way back

he counters no one, more often than not most picks counter you, he has insane kill pressure tho, even if you are down lets say by 2-3 kills because of enemy jungler ganks most toplaners still cant deal with you and duels still can go either way, you really need to time opponents cdr, having good engage skill you jump on em every time they a use skill to farm and harass you (assuming you dodge it) jump on en shred their ass, very few ppl will stand and fight you with your spear in their backways and half hp already down and skill on cd, and this trend continues whole game, its not that his skills are particularly strong damage wise but he engages so hard and people simply choose to run instead of fighting back :D

hes better as a jungler tho

QWE and R everyone else away or use to execute. Simplistic doesn't begin to describe how easy Xin is to play, just get bork maybe black cleaver and full tank afterward.
