OK so why's Irelia as adc/mid bad now...?

I just picked her up like friday of last week.

I've been having consistent success (if you call 2 games consistent lmao) bot lane and I've performed well enough on my own at the very least during laning phase as a mid laner over like 10ish games this week i think. I honestly got scared off of top lane because her matchups felt bad. I haven't fought too many assassins yet (zoe isnt too bad and fizz is of course a complete pain in the ass but that might change with the hotfix???) haven't fought talon or zed yet although i perma ban zed. I can imagine talon being hell for a good portion of the game. I assume either yasuo is a skill lane/he just kind of beats me?

ADCs are bad mid because there's just so many burst champions mid, and they're usually incapable of escaping a gank by themselves.

They shifted power on her kit from the Q to the passive stacks so she's better against melees than against rangeds which makes her non auto loss every melee matchup on toplane that was her original role and the vast majority of Irelia players were asking for this changes since they dont want to play mid or bot.

And adcs are also happy because we dont have to face the abomination that was pre nerfs Irelia bot.

Everyone wins.

She will still be viable on a decent way mid, but bot with these changes + the adc buffs I dont think so, but, you are free to play her wherever you want.
