Dynamic Queue is here to stay... however

There's nothing I can say that people haven't already. I mean, shoot, I thought the idea of DQ was the best thing ever!

Remember how if you had that absolutely perfect team in solo Q? Everyone was on point. Everyone was funny, fun to be around and overall, you all just played in sync. The thing I wished for the most in soloQ, was to get that exact same team again! And when I found that you could in DQ, I was excited. Finally I could have fun in ranked!

However as DQ was released and pre-mades became more and more of a thing, DQ became a lot less fun for me.

And it's not just in ranked! Even regular normal games, I can't seem to have fun because I'm often the 5th man out. This is a problem that a lot of players have had to deal with. But, Riot wants DQ to work. So we have to make it work. Pros that hate it, don't get their attention, tons and tons of posts won't get their attention, so, just deal with the DQ.

They did put a lot of work into the new DQ and i can see how they want this to work so badly, even if people hate it. I can say that I wanna uninstall all day and night. But I already know that I'm not. I love LoL and I love playing with my friends.

The thing that's sad is that a lot of the things that I really enjoyed are gone and aren't coming back. Team Builder was a fun mode and it insured that you could practice what you wanted. Yeah the Queue times were long, but if I wanted to just practice Azir mid, spamming him every single game until I felt comfortable with him for ranked, I could. I miss Solo Q because the most you had to deal with was a duo Q. And even that wasn't all that common.

While there are positives to Dynamic Queue, we can't ignore the negatives.

Positives: Dynamic Queue does look cooler than the old queue. Being able to play ranked with more than one of your friends is a nice addition. It does honestly require you to play with your team in sync, forcing you to try and work together! Really really really short queue times for support mains. If there are more positives, let me know in your comments. You can queue in for multiple lanes, insuring that you get at least one of the two.

Negatives: Dynamic Queue has completely legalized boosting, which has been frown upon since the beginning of time. The ability to play ranked with your friends was already available from the start so it feels kinda redundant. While you do need to play in sync with your team, the problem with you being the 'random' is that you're the black sheep and often times, you're just gonna get screwed out one way or another. While if you're a support main, you don't have to wait forever. If you're not a support main, the queue times can get a little lengthy, especially if your secondary is not support. With players getting boosted left and right, there are more smurfs than ever. Meaning that more players at lower elos are going to deal with more diamond+ players tearing holes through their team Because of so many players getting boosted to plat/diamond, the players that are only bronze/silver/gold level, will certainly lose the game if they play against genuine high elo players, meaning that the players on their team will most certainly lose.

There are definitely more negatives, but I decided to mention the ones that are the most mentioned.

DQ can stay. It just needs to be refined a bit. I don't have any ideas of how to make DQ a much less toxic thing and a more healthier option, but I'm sure it does exist. Give Riot some time to fix things up. Don't be so quick to uninstall. Give Riot a chance to help make Dynamic Queue better.

If you feel that League has become unfun for you, give it a break. Turn it off and play something else for a while. You have a WiiU? PS4? X-bone? Go outside and run around the block a few times. Look up videos on various hobbies.

My friends refused to play League at the start of Season 6, because of how it was. So, they both stopped. As soon as League changed again to something that best suited their wants, they came back and they've been back ever since.

Maybe you guys should consider doing the same. Don't think of it as, "I'm quitting league." You don't even need to make a big deal out of it. Just, think of it as, "I'm gonna put League on the back burner for a little while and I'll pick it up later." Then if you see something that you like, just come back!

If dynamic q fixed anything, it was this. However this only really helped people who dont want to play solo q but dont have a team to play with. So, youd think..... that dynamic q was not meant to replace solo q, but team 5v5s.

Think about it. Riot mentioned they removed 5v5s for two reasons: 1) not enough players, 2) dynamic q makes it "obsolete". Heres the thing tho: a lot of people didnt play ranked teams because they didnt have a team. And that sucks. Dynamic q could have been a great tool for helping people start teams. Add options to dynamic q that allow easy adding of members to a team you captain, and boom, great 5v5 replacement that will bring more people in. I mean, dynamic q is already "teams vs other teams", that just happens to have a feature for filling team holes with randos.

Riot mentioned that they are looking into integrating team stuff back into dynamic q. I believe that. And if theres any way to save BOTH solo q and dynamic q/teams, this is it. I didnt realize it until just now, but this is it.
