I enjoy playing off-meta champs and have locked in close to a hundred games with Thresh. Try playing him in mid. I've played so far against Yasuo and Kat and there is very little they could do against me, forced to roam with what little items they could muster. With the range and cc you have, you can very easily zone them out. Try it out! (Before crying that your precious meta dictates it's not a thing)

Or, when you're running from him, avoid running INTO your minion wave (obviously this one is harder to just DO)
Or just generally be a better player instead of just complaining that Yasuo is "too OP for meh"
I used to bitch a lot about Yasuo (and I still think he needs to seriously be looked at) but e's not just crazy OP

. I've been able to make it work rather well. Q isn't blocked by wind wall, and the miasma pit, if you managed to land it before wind wall cast, lasts longer than wind wall. Just kite the dude away from minions, and nail him with poison and fangs while he retreats. Even if he gets on top of you, it makes landing poison easier.

Just put a skill point in E at level 2 and spam it when hes up at your face

Spicy Rice1 votesOk, tbh, the yasuo probably isnt that great. Don't get me wrong, thresh (particularly AD Thresh) is a really fun champion to play in the top and mid land, but a good yasuo should have been able to destroy you in lane.
Literally all he would have to do is farm using q, get 3rd proc ready, dash onto 2 minions, windwall-dash-q, and dash out. Keep doing that till you are low enough to kill with an ult-auto-q-dash combo (+ ignite). And boom
