and...not really all that fun to play...????

You guys, play her and see what you think, but the gameplay is not all that satisfying to me. You pair with a WW, he suppresses a target, and you walk around, hit four times ??? profit. Yes, she's good. Yes, she's good in teamfights. Honestly, you can wait until someone on the enemy team is about to die, dash in, ult them, heal your whole team, and shove down an inhibitor, but the mechanics are wonky to me. I WILL admit playing her more and giving her a fair chance will settle some issues, but this is in no way the same champ. Don't expect to play as aggressively as before, because she is more about kiting, returning cc, and turning instead of the beloved balls-to-the-walls technique she had before.

Give her a shot, though! She's worth a try with some patience.

Oh, friendly reminder! Get your Gangplank game in so you can get the free skin!

Fiora without a doubt needed a rework. She was the queen of being unreliable, and the poster child for feast or famine. It was way too easy to shut her down.

However her rework has been slow to grow on me. I like that they tried adding more depth to her gameplay. The problem I have is that it's sort of unsatisfying to play during the laning phase. The lunge is just meh, and puts you in the range of the melee carry without any form of escape. Champions like Darius are going to be even more of a pain to deal with then they already were. Her W is comparable to Irelia's E, but it's so unreliable, when Irelia's is easy to use. I don't see why Fiora's W has such a long cooldown either. I feel the same way about her E. It's on too long of a cooldown, and I don't understand why she can't crit on the first strike. It's a weak slow, short duration, and a simple AS buff. Nothing amazing.

Her ult is also not very reliable. It's a lot more chaotic, but I think it's fine. The reward you get for procing all 4 vitals or killing them is worth the effort you put in to do so. It's just so many of the bruisers out there are better picks. She has zero wave clear, and little escapes. There's not enough incentive in the AoE heal to choose her over bruisers like Irelia or Riven. People used to pick her for her hypercarry potential, but I was fine giving that up if she could become a strong and stable pick.

They made her too difficult to play, when before she was one of the easiest champions to pick up (unless counter picked). If they tweaked her stats a bit, and played around with the cooldowns I think she would be a lot more satisfying to pick up. A buff to her E ability and passive would go such a long way though. I hope Riot looks into it at some point.

Yea that's what i felt about gangplank. they took a simple fun champion design and made him this "minigame" barrelmaster probably with competitive play in mind and the PHAT PLAYS BOI!

i LIKED this simplicity of him and they destroyed his playstyle, they midess well have made a brand new champion because it really ruined what he once was.
