I'm sick of smurfs in every game.
Before the preseason every game was fine (with the exception of a few boosters) but when they reset their elos then there are so many new smurfs in bronze 5 and it's not fun playing with those smurfs.

Rather than complaining about smurfs, you should be thankful for the opportunity to learn from better players.
I have recently had the opportunity to play against high Diamond people, while flex queue was still broken. Those were some of the best games I had in a while, and the way these players handled situations was a real learning experience.
there's a place for that. It's called normals.
When we play ranked we want to earn LP, you know, win games.
Its preseason, genius.
Your LP gains/losses matter exactly nothing right now.
People play ranked when they like to win. My stats are still being saved, for example.
I don't enjoy playing ranked if I know I'm just going to lose 5 out of 6 games because of smurfs and other things I can't control, like bad matchmaking.
No it isn't. You'll get beaten up, flamed at when you're worse than everyone else. The best way to improving is beating people on your own skill level and then watch higher elo players stream ect. There is nothing worse than getting beaten by an obvious smurf and it is honestly just frustrating.
You'll get beaten up
No, actually I didn't.
I lost half those lanes, but held myself as well as I could, and won half the lanes, under great difficulty. I played more focused and with more dedication than I did in a long time. It was like going on a 2-week martial arts training camp and coming back comletely exhausted but stronger than ever before.

Wrong.
The only way to improve, is to challenge yourself. No one facilitates muscle growth by lifting the same weights over and over again. You can define existing muscle mass that way, but to build up more mass, you increase the weight. Read a fitness magazine sometimes.

That may be so for you, but for me, it is a great experience and an opportunity to learn. Guess we are different in how we handle challenges in our lives.
They create a skill floor that varies too much and when the opposing team has that one Riven, Zed or whatever champ it is that goes 5/0 in lane, there is just nothing you can do to stop them. Personally, my best way of learning is to punish player mistakes like poking people when they CS. Things I can't concentrate on when the opponent is doing all this, but much better. Sure, you can see what he is doing, but it's a fact that smurfs are problematic because they create imbalanced queues in gold/silver/bronze and even in plat.
Laning against a smurf might give you some insight in what they're doing, but when it's in another lane you just have to think "What the fuck happened?" as they ruin the game for you
yesterday ran into a guy playing lee and he had a 90% winrate, ofcourse he was on the enemy team and destroyed us
There was a time where I was still in Bronze 1, and I laned vs. a Gold 4 Ekko and a Silver 1 Jax of whom he was premade with. I played a lot of Fiora at that point and was practicing her a lot so it was a test for me. I ended up carry that game and Jax failed to get into the game because his ganks on me didnt work and I knew how to outplay the Ekko.
Use those experiences as a test and learn from whatever losses they do give you.
git gud and they wont be smurfs anymore :3
