I love how WINS don't mean shitt when you're in your placement games. Win 5-6 Bronze; Win 7-8 Bronze; Win 10 out of 10 freaking placement games Bronze. However after placement games WINS mean EVERYTHING nothing else. Makes 0 SENSE.

I love when you're in your promo games you tend to get the most ( AFK players, the most GARBAGE players, and the most Toxic players).
You win 2-3 promo games and get to the next division in your elo but start back at 0 LP but if you lose your promo games you lose LP so you gain 0 LP in your promo games if you win but you lose LP if you lose your games. Makes 0 SENSE.

I love how this game is turning into some weird adaptation to Pee Wee's playhouse with all the dumb jungle changes. Or Mortal Kombat 2.0 with nothing but FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.

I love how Riot never responds to anyone's posts on the boards ONLY WHEN IT DEALS WITH MONEY OR PC DIFFICULTY SO THEY CAN HELP THAT PERSON SO THEY CAN STAY PLAYING THEIR GAME. Seriously they never respond to ANYTHING unless it involves $$$.

I love how easy it could be for competitive teams/players to cheat. Have the one player that is the "quiet guy and has the less job to do but can still talk to his team but he can't hear anyone on his team" YOU JUST MUTE YOUR MIC SO YOU CAN HEAR THE CASTERS TALK DURING THE GAME SO YOU CAN KNOW WHAT THE ENEMY TEAM IS DOING AND YOU JUST PING WHERE THEY "might" BE. EZ. I love how NA gets BENT OVER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR; STOP COPYING OFF KOREA you fucking idiots stop playing into their hands 6 fucking years and you still do the same shit over and over again. ADAPT you BABOONS. Make up your own Meta it's not that hard.

Your hidden mmr heavily affects where your placements end up placing you. It's likely that your ranked mmr is pretty low.

I have a friend that never played ranked back in S5 he played his placement games and got Gold 4; just from his first placement games and only winning 3 games with a KDA of 1.something he bought 0 pinks and warded maybe a total 10X with the normal trinkets.
Why is our MMR hidden ?

Why do we end Silver 3 and no matter what we do we always get placed like 2-3 divisions lower no matter what because Riot's logic is " We don't want players to get destroyed" not 100% their quote but close.
Why don't we start where we left off a season ago once the new season starts?

I'm starting to think if you only play maybe 15 total ranked games total win or lose as long as your CS per min and per game is high you will get in higher elo. Countless players only play their placement games and only worry about their total CS per game.

I guess Riot's logic is that you'll work your way back up to where you belong, even if you get placed 2 divisions lower.

2 steps back 1 step forward.
I just don't see why Riot can't let players continue where they left off a season prior. If you get Silver 1 at the end of Season X you have already proven that you can get to Silver 1 so let players continue and get to Gold-Plat-etc etc.

This is literally my only account I got placed in silver and that's cuz I made 2/8 on it... all others go gold 4 + even with 4/10 wins... and gold 1 if 7/10 + rofl, the problem aint in the placements :D

Wouldn't players that play with 4 garbage teammates in the "low elo" get placed somewhat high if they win 7-8 games out of 10 in their placement matches.
Playing in "high elo" is relaxing because on 1 hand sure you're facing "high elo" players on the enemy team but at least you can rely on your team of the same caliber instead of relying on 4 baboons.

I play with a 8 year old keyboard as a Katarina main with 1 hand tied behind my back vs all elos, so okay.

the placement is because of the reset. i agree that's kinda bull though same with losing lp during promos. also i've seen riot members comment on more than just money and computer issues. i've seen them comment on some of the gameplay and player behaviors and probably others.

Yeah Riot employees comment on behaviors because they need to keep the peace. If X player is being toxic and someone is complaining they will say they will "fix the issue" but nothing is actually resolved I'm pretty sure we all got the " Thank you X player is now banned" or something like that but you remember that toxic kids league name and after receiving that message you play with that same toxic kid a few days later. If Riot doesn't respond about the behavior issues then players will leave the game and Riot doesn't want that; so instead they just say some waka waka stuff to please the "victim" but if they actually banned the toxic players 99.9% of league players will be banned and at the end of the day League players = Delicious $.
