This is my first season and I'm not sure what the big deal is. Of course I don't play ranked so maybe that is where the issue lies, but I don't understand why the consensus on these boards seems to be that Riot removed solo "that has ruined the game" and had no reason to do so. Companies don't do that, no company ever. People do that, they are capricious and selfish, but companies have to look at the bigger picture, what ever benefits players lost with the removal of solo Riot must have gained something in return. Greater profit, more manageable server usage, reduction of reports and bans in ranked maybe all of these things IDK. But if companies could make unpopular changes on a whim and that gained them no benefit and suffered no consequences we'd all be drinking New Coke, it just isn't how the world works. The fact that players are so uniformly upset and yet Riot still refuses to revert back is all the proof you need that Riot has seen something positive in the results of the change.
