The boards want damage reductions...

But anytime a thread goes up calling for nerfs for X or Y champ, it gets down-voted into oblivion.

Boards want's damage reductions unless it's for the champions they play. Then their champion is fine and you are crazy for wanting them toned down too. Worse most of the things people complain about have already been massively nerfed. Ludens does more than duskblade does yet people are still screaming for duskblade to be deleted. Imagine if you came after ludens the mage players would swarm you.

Then there is the good ol damage is too high because I did something stupid and died squad. We get those threads every day.

... well first off a person who mains said champion is more likely to respond to that thread, your your asking to nerf them.

and also.. for the most part damage creep isn't from champion changes themselves (outside of reworks) (cough Akali Irelia)

its from items and from the front loaded damage on runes that add burst where there was none. as well as the resolve tree giving abolutely no option for non-tanks to get tankier

if u look at a master system of season 4

http://abccbaandy.github.io/league-S4mastery-calc/ any champion in the game could effectivly take any tree. sure there were more common options

and sure there were even some REQIURED things like extra ward range for supports.

but for the most part u could modify your champion and sacrifice some offensive power.

tanky champions could give up tank stats for more damage.

we dont HAVE that option anymore

there is no way to go in and say" i want my squishy champion to be slightly less squishy.

there IS no option u can take to do that..

there are only options for AD champions in the precision tree. only option for tnky champion in the resolve tree.

hell there are practically no options for almost ANYONE in the "sorcery" tree anymore as they have all been moved to the domination tree.

not only did season 4 not have " do X and get a gaint bust of damage from a non skill" it ALSO had DEFENSIVE options that ANY champion could take.

that coupled with the fact that were was no item 3095 , no item 3147 , there was no

items like item 3128 had already been removed, armor actually DID SHIT

there wasnt excessive cdr on items of every class..

MOST AD items had like 50-60 AD on them not 70-80

and rabbons have like 25% extra not 40% and void staff wasnt 40% either

the fact is MOST champions dont really NEED to be nerfed to fix them.

sure champion like Irelia Leblanc OBVIOUSLY do.

but MOST champiosn would be fine if riot just got rid of all the upfront burst they had added during the past.. i think its four years now

Remove bullshit items loaded in burst damage (or make them unique passives that can't stack), remove or fix keystones so they don't give extra free bullshit damage everywhere, and tone down champions with bullshit damage numbers for what they should be doing as a class. It wouldn't even be much of an issue if there wasn't so much early game lopsidedness where people do too much fucking damage and have too little of an HP pool or armor/magic resistance. Save that shit for the late game where things you know, have to actually have some sort of scaling. Not EVERY champion that shouldn't be good early game to begin with needs to be good early game.

Instant, targeted damage is counterplay-less damage. item 3148's active should not be a thing.

Its hard for me to tell on this one. With several ADCs getting buffed, I think those are justified. Lucian is maybe a bit strong, Ezrael too. Part of this seems like a too easy range issue, but I'm not sure. Jhin's movement speed is too fast for this game.

Because those champions are not causing the damage and they should not be nerfed, not every champion is doing a lot of damage.

Because the main source of the problem is the addition of damage through things like Keystones, duskblade and stormrazor.
