Have Nasus been terrorizing low elo?

I encountered this a few times. Nasus builds full tank and plays defensively stacking Q. Later in game he becomes unkillable but still deals a ton of damage having 500-600 stacks.

I'm not talking about. Omg my top is bad or omg we should shutdown Nasus and don't let him farm. I'm saying he builds full tank (Spirit Visage, Dead Men's Plate, etc) and still being able to kill non-tanks in two shots. Which feels so stupid.

It's not just low elo. Nasus has no answer and never has. He will get big and start 1v5ing and oneshotting towers, and there is no way to prevent it. I'm hoping he gets changes at some point, but he's been like that for years and is probably going to stay uncounterable forever.

Nasus big powerspike is midgame if he has stacks and some tanky items he destroys everything. This scenario simply doesn't happen in high elo as he gets denied. In lategame he gets kited and melted by coordinated people in teamfights. Since that isn't a thing in low elo, Nasus is a good pick there. I guess.

Nasus isnt played that much. More or less People start ignoring him and let him farm. Thats the Point where you should help People to understand that they shouldnt let him farm. When im Top against a Nasus, he will never get 200 stacks on his Q before 30 Minute mark.

In that Case, the Game is almost lost for him and his Team.

I only see nasus win games via splitting, if he's shitting on your team then chances are that your team in fights then they were already gonna lose regardless of the nasus pick. usually the way to beat nasus is to beat him to death early game and then make better rotations mid-game. a good jungler helps a lot.

It depends on Nasus player as well. Recent one had TP, Ghost and Stormraider's Surge on top. With DMP. And wasn't stingy on warding.

I don't say it was impossible to shut him down. We had (somewhat) successful ganks. I wan't to say in bronze-silver rarely players have good synnergy because games are more chaotic. And Nasus players take advantage of that.

the issue with this would be?

nasus is a juggernaut. if he builds tanky and scales into a lategame carry, then its working as intended. his early game is absolute garbage to make up for his lategame scaling aswell.

The issue is it against paradigm: build damage to do damage. His kit allows to build full tank and still do a lot of damage. This is why Yasuo's ult was nerfed recently. It allowed building tank items and still do a lot of damage.

The only way to counter him is to shutdown early. Which lower elo has problem doing because of bad team synergy. Again it's not a big problem and is pretty rare but times I encountered it was super stupid. When a champion having only tank items can two-shot someone (even having a defensive item).

no, this doesnt exist as a universal rule in this game and is incredibly short sighted way to try and go about champion balance.

this is a serious bronze/silver mindset that ive often encountered here on the forums. becuase youre entirely ignoring utility and range as a factor in champions power budget. yes, utility, mobility and range are harder to quantify, but their impact is massive.

yasuo was nerfed, because he wasnt just too tanky for how much damage he dealt, but because he was effective on a bruiser build while having the versatile kit of a skirmisher. juggernauts kits are designed around dealing carry damage while building incredibly tanky. yasuo is designed around building squishy. hence why he has a lot of inbuilt mobility, and big outplay abilities like windwall and shield to be able to compensate for the fact that hes squishy in melee range of his enemies. the problem was that when he was able to build tanky and still deal decent damage, he still had a kit loaded with utility and mobility and became a better bruiser than champions who are meant to be bruisers.

by your design standarts, supports would be entirely garbage, as they bring neither damage nor a lot of defense to the game, and almost their entire power budget is in utility.

juggernauts have gameplay counters in that theyre restricted to short range and have usually little by way of utility. theyre slow moving walls of death, but not impossible to deal with or take down. all that damage in their kits is worthless if you play properly around their abilities and stay out of their range and/or dodge their damage and not just try to faceroll them in melee. whch is probably the main issue at lower ratings.

of course when you take a look at the ladder and go down in rank, the more poeple value just straight up damage and defense, and the less they understand the impact of utility and how to abuse the weaknesses of a juggernaut.

the long asnwer is yes, because it's super annoying to fight VS nassus late game.

the short answer is no, because a lot of times he'll get snowballed on by his lane opponent or the game simply ends before he spikes.

Late game in low elo? Everyone tilts out early and spams surrender if they aren't winning by 25 minutes.

I played teemo agaisnt nasus top. OMG i literally feld so bad for that nasus. Late game he had 50CS :OOOOOOOOOO Bc i just wouldn't let him farm. If they gank i had loads of shrooms for vision. The jungler had to camp but even then i had shrooms on lane and he had to leave soon.

This is common for ranged vs melee top matchup. Jayce would be the same I feel.
