Give me good top, jungle and support charecters!

New player here, I actually have no proper top lanes except poppy (and I struggle with her, nice 0% win rate) i played xin and did decent with him but he's boring (e qw spam bot), I was thinking about buying fiora since she's not really weak or OP and looks fun.

PS: I have too many adcs and mid laners.

The only proper support I have is soraka, who's kit is actually pretty meh, can't really harass easily once the opponent gets boots, can't really disengage, can't really engage. I played Nami when she was free last week twice, got s- on both matches and loved playing her but she costs 6300 IP... So no. Im thinking about buying sona (also played her while she was free). Also I know Janna is a thing and she's cheap but she's pretty boring + soon to be gutted.

The only proper jungle I have is Diana but she can't really gank pre 6 and honestly, I play her mid often and feel that she does the jungling Job better in the mid Lane.

Played moa while he was free, don't enjoy him but I must say his E is pretty trollish and fun to use like a teemo shroom

Top: My favorites are Gnar, Irelia, Kled, and Nasus.

Jungle: My favorites are Vi, Kha'Zix, Kayn, and Master Yi.

Support: My favorites are Thresh, Rakan, Soraka, Lulu, and Morgana.

I'm the type of player that likes diving into the middle of everything and crowd-controlling the enemy team, insta-gibbing squishies, and enchanter supports.

I'll buy khazix for the jungle role, I actually saved IP for him before but forgot all about him and bought another mid Laner.

Blitz and thresh are a no for me, they're pretty effective and strong even if they're super behind but I don't like the whole just hook somebody in a team fight and the person you hooked is 100% dead playstyle, doesn't do much except just piss off your opponents. Rakan looks fun, haven't played him before though, I'll try him when he's free and itll probably be either rakan, nami or sona.

Why ire when fiora? I played Kled once, he's fun but I usually found myself getting dismounted, being unable to get skarl back without recalling. I played nasus too, going to consider him.

My favourite top laners are Kled, Urgot and Illaoi. Garen is also super cheap, easy to learn, and reliable overall. Great for new players. Tanks in general are big right now, so maybe even Malphite.

Amumu is also cheap, and I feel that he's criminally underrated. He's a tank that hooks an enemy, jumps into the guy he stuns, and then stuns EVERYONE with his ult. He's just that satisfying.

As for support: We always need more Braum players. I've also saved countless suicidal idiots with Tahm kench. But if your on a budget, Soraka or even Morgana would be fine too.

I played braum once and he's fine but usually I find that nobody follows up when you proc your passive, when they do follow up, it becomes a nice landing face, when they don't which happens a lot, it feels like most of his power is gone (I only normals and basically never do a pre-made with someone)

You won't hear this from anyone else, and people will swear I'm trolling, but...

At support, you can't go wrong with these picks:

  • Nasus Nasus. But make sure you build AP. His E makes for beyond impressive poke, and this way you do damage without having to steal farm for your Q. (I've tried the Relic Shield and Q Farm route several times. Trust me, it's not efficient.)

  • Camille Camille. She has solid stun utility if you get comfortable with her, and she trades really well when the other team decides to jump on your carry. She can also secure your carry kills with her ult, and she's just really fun to play besides.

  • Tryndamere Tryndamere. His W can either secure kills when the enemy is on the run, or swing fights when they jump on you. 25+ AD reduction is HUGE in the early game, and enough people respect his power that you can often use him to zone out the enemy and let your carry farm. His ult can tank the turret for your carry to dive on them at 6, too.

  • Sejuani Sejuani. Impressive utility and excellent toughness make Sejuani a dangerous support to fight against, and a good Sejuani can keep her carry from all manner of harm.

  • Pantheon Pantheon. He has a solid stun that only needs one level to be effective, and he's mobile and tanky enough to control the pace of the laning phase.

  • Rammus Rammus. Rammus is insane as a support. He sucks in enemy carries and turns their damage back on them. While your carry is finishing them off, they can't do anything about it thanks to Rammus' taunt. If they try to run? Q 'em. Rammus is one of the best supports I've ever played. I climbed from Bronze V all the way to Silver III with him in season 3, and he hasn't changed much since.

  • Illaoi Illaoi. Oh how I despise Illaoi as a character. But I can't deny her value as a support. With Illaoi, the other team is forced to either back off and let your carry farm, or suffer the consequences of being battered down to nothing and giving you full control of the lane one way or the other. She's also extremely good at trading, which makes her even better at zoning.

  • Ivern Ivern. Fairly reliable snares, the ability to hide your carry for a moment mid-fight, and a decent shield make Ivern great for trading against enemy botlanes. And once he gets his ult, any fight can become 3v2 in an instant.

  • Shaco Shaco. There are basically two ways to play Shaco at support. Either you stack AP and mana and throw knives all day, or you remain deceptive and mobile, always keeping the enemy guessing. The latter is my preferred method, and it makes enemy botlanes extremely tentative about engaging. If they do, you've got a fear ready in the form of your boxes. Said boxes are also great for warding and defending ganking avenues.

  • Ashe Ashe. Since her passive was reworked she's become slightly less viable as a support, but she still puts in good work with reliable slows, a stunning ult and the ability to check ganking avenues as you go into a fight. Be careful with positioning, but as long as you don't get caught out, Ashe is really good at controlling the lane and keeping her carry safe.

  • Irelia Irelia. Tankiness and true damage give her solid trading power early, and her ability to slow or stun as the situation demands allows her to give her carry an edge in most fights. If you get ganked, jumping on the jungler and popping a slow/stun on him is often all it takes to get both of you to safety.

  • Teemo Teemo. His reliable, damage-over-time poke, his blinding Q and his stealthy behavior make him a great support. He always keeps the enemy guessing, and as soon as a fight breaks out, he has the means to set the pace. Once he gets his ult, it's almost impossible to gank his carry.

  • Yasuo Yasuo. Though rather situational, I've had some great games with Yasuo at support. His poking power is undeniable, aided by his lack of mana. The shield he generates allows him to deal solid damage and get out before he takes much in return, which will frustrate enemy carries all day. His semi-reliable knockup is useful in swinging fights and saving his carry, but further... It's shocking how many ADCs secure kills with long-range ultimates with obvious vectors (Miss Fortune, Jinx, Caitlyn, Jhin, Xayah...). His wall puts a clean stop to that, and can also be used to swing fights in his carry's favor.

  • Leblanc LeBlanc. Good old LeBlanc used to be one of the best supports in the game, but then they took her silence away. Despite that, she still does a good job in the right hands. She possesses the same scare factor a Yasuo or Tryndamere does (even if you don't build any damage!), and her ability to mislead the enemy's carry can often be more than enough to get your carry out of a bad fight or into a good one. Her snare is still reliable, and she can use it twice! (Though I suggest always saving her ult for Distortion, myself.)

I know I got a bit long-winded, but I've mained support all my years, so I get a bit passionate. Hope some of these off-meta solutions interest you, but as with any champion, make sure you're comfortable with how they play before you try it out!
