Please stop putting level 10s in our games

I've been having a lot of matches today with low level players on my team and the opponents. It's not fun facing a new player and it's not fun having one on your team either. I don't get how this matchmaking works.

Wait yea it's really weird, I've been getting a lot of people, on my team and the enemy, with no keystones and usually that team loses. It's not fun because it's usually a stomp. Like yesterday I had a game with a Sona with no keystones, we lost bot because even though she bought the recommended items, she didn't ward or scan and she even said she was new. Then I played another game, the enemy had a Fiddle jungle with no keystone who had no defense runes and basically did nothing the entire game. It's boring as hell to play with or against and it's weird to see an influx like this. I wonder what could he the cause.

Experienced players queuing up with their low level friends likely to enjoy the game better when they're all playing together.

Riot made this so that Smurfs would be found out from the normal players probably

Yeah it's been weird, I've been on a random winning streak from similar circumstances. Tons of low levels (no keystones, pathetic game sense, etc.) which makes it too easy to win. I'm not even smurfing, they're just showing up in norms.

I only play solo and usually get matched with silver-plat players in norms, so this has been really weird.

i had someone without a keystone on the enemy team. was a draven player. he was mad he was the only non-30 and i was like "stop duoing with friends" he said he wasn't so i told him to stop smurfing, he said he had 24 perma-banned accounts.

I'm not sure if this guy was just memeing, but I ended up just reporting him because if he was serious, which i doubt highly, tyler 1 smurf maybe

The system works well enough. The problem here is that you consider yourself to be better than you actually are. A quick check on op.gg and looking at your matches history shows that you are always matched with people in either bronze or silver. So you probably are around this elo aswell. And guess what, this is the elo of new players. Here's the lastest game on the page : https://image.prntscr.com/image/FbUFnLnmSDC5s_9BO9G3Rw.png You can see lv30, bronze and silver.

Also this isn't "getting boosted" as someone said, Boosting is something related to actual ranked games, not the natural process of leveling up as you play. ; you don't get "boosted from lv10 to lv11" xD

Also people have friends who start the game, and they want to play together. Normal games are there for that; have fun and play with your friends, thus there should be no restriction on that regardless of skill gaps. Ranked on the other hand -where it actually matters- already has this kind of restriction : you can't queue with someone over one division apart.

As you can't decently prevent friends from playing together, there will be instances of games where the matchmaking did all it could to balance things out, but it can't do miracles. But to be honnest these games rarely ever happen anyway.
