bot lane in low elo is too much of a mixed bag.

but you know what. i changed my mind. maining adc in low elo basically means if you don't get a support thats on the same page as you. you lose. such a sad state. i had my support leave me at level 1 without even pinging. i wasn't really far away but i had a really favorable trade with the enemy adc only to find my support wasn't there and i had to blow my summoners. the zyra left me to invade a zac with wukong. out of all champions. the one that is the hard one to kill at level1-2. zac. lol.

I honestly think ADC has a very difficult time influencing games in Solo Q, they just aren't as impactful unless they can go an armor pen build so they can exist pre-lategame.

Most ranked games don't strech long enough for ADCs to really make a difference

But, if you have a competent support that can get you fed you can still perform well. That's the problem with low elo, competent supports are few and far between.

They all decided to give up on support because they were tired of being abused by their ADCs while playing the least popular, arguably least exciting role, that only exists to take care of their carries.

Wut? You realize you're talking to a support main

I don't think it's boring at all, it just doesn't appeal to everyone, and no amount of support tweaking will fundamentally change that.

Sure, if Riot makes every support one-shot every champion in the game, then a lot more people would play it. But at that point it's no longer a "support" role.

Calm down. I said arguably boring. Which is true, as the least people play it. I like support. But being abused in Silver by ADC mains isnt fun

Tell me about it, it's even WORSE in bronze(use to main support now i don't) i just hate seeing the ADCs blame the support for EVERYTHING that goes wrong. ADC dies to a gank? "Support should have warded beter", ADC gets caught out? "support didn't help me get away" even tho they were getting 5 maned and was dead no mater what. I just hate seeing that and moved over to ADC just so i could be a nicer influence and maybe make some ones day if not make it BETTER. My one goal as an ADC is to not be toxic and to find something to say about the support to complement(be it getting me out, hit a nice skill shot or just a nice attitude), and i hope to make the rift better for support players :)

Just face it. Supports in low elo are bad. Like very bad. You need to have of good decision making that low elo players simply don't have enough of. I love how support players are the only ones that can get away with blaming everyone else but themselves. I've had supports hold on to their exhaust until after I've died when using it would have been the difference between me securing a kill or not in an early fight.

I've had supports go on an extremely ill advised warding trip when they see me go for cs only for me to get dived by a leona and then they want to say it's my fault when they're the ones who left me for no reason or at least without warning.

Supports decide the bot lane and it's frustrating as an ADC main to get the short end of the stick because you KNOW that you have to rely on them but they also have to be half-way decent at their job and not brain-dead monkeys that abandon you, forcing you, the adc carry, to miss out on cs while they go mid and feed or get caught by the enemy jungler.

i agree

i think the reason this is is because marksmen are typically all the same with little tidbits of differentiation that only really see play if their numbers are simply higher or their own quirks make the damage easier to apply so unless the meta just LOVES marksmen only a few stand out

like KogMaw Tristana Twitch Jinx are all basically the same champion now (jinx and trist even use the exact same build

there's little ways to reinvent the adc role without making something completely broken like Kalista or Urgot and nerfing them into the ground as a result. or just, you know, removing a bunch of adcs from the bot lane? cough Corki Graves Quinn Varus cough

Exactly why I gave up on playing support. Same reason. Playing a duo lane in low tiers is suicide.

Why, just play kha'zix support and evolve into the carry?

I've dynamic queue boosted my friends as ADC without losing a game and no none of them played support or even came to my lane as the jungler.

I almost never see a bot lane go neutral, it always seems to be either they got completely and utterly destroyed or they beat the enemy so hard, the enemy can't come back
