Is there any information or update regarding Xin Zhao's rework?

As a Xin Zhao main / OTP, i'm extremely anxious about what his changes are going to do to him. In the past i used to main Soraka, Fiora, Rengar, Taric and Aatrox - and they were all reworked to a state in which they were no longer playable for me.

What scope will Xin Zhao's rework be in? Will he be forced out of top lane, like what has been done to many other similar champions in the past? Will he still be a sustain monster / still have compatibility with / retain his auto attack reset / still be a very effective early game jungler?

What scope will Xin Zhao's rework be in?

IIRC it will be similar to and on the same level as Rek'Sai's. Xin is meant to be getting an entirely new spell.

Probably not unless his kit change makes him solely jungle focused.

Damn... That overloaded attack speed steroid is practically key to his entire kit, even more so than his Q and E... I really hope they wont switch it out...

I've heard a rumor that they're looking into give him a "Combo skill" that would be used much like Rivens. Of course it's a rumor so take it with a crap ton of salt though that would be pretty cool if they can pull off something liek that.

It would be nice if it is a real combo, then. Currently i can already combo using the third W proc, the third Q, his E and his ult together - you can do a lot of fancy insec stuff with that ult.

I just hope it wont be a "gimmick" combo à la Kayn - as in something so basic its not really a "skill combo" at all, but rather just smashing your face into your keyboard.
