I'd be fine with everything about Yasuo if he didn't do the damage of two champions
Seriously, his kit is COOL. I love the infinite dashes and hypermobility. I love the windwall idea. His ult is meh but it's not a bad ability.
His damage is SO FUCKING HIGH though. And that's what makes it impossible for me to like this champion. There's no counterplay at all.
If you land a good combo at level 2 all it takes for him is a dash or two plus a Q and he did the exact same amount of damage that you did for no mana (whereas you probably spent 100+ mana).
His random crits are SO aggravating. In lane when you only have 1000 max health and he gets a crit Q for 225 damage you just want to alt + F4 because you CANNOT DO ANYTHING. He'll just dash away. WHICH WOULD BE COMPLETELY FINE, if he didn't have so much poke damage.
Leblanc is probably worse than Yasuo in terms of damage but she has two dashes max instead of infinite and no windwall, so her W damage is actually justified. Yasuo's damage is not justified at all. He has a ton of mobility, a decent amount of utility, a good amount of defense, and a very high amount of damage. I don't think a more well-rounded champion exists. Khazix has one leap and then he's fucked, and can't do anything in a group of enemies. Graves isn't that fast. Talon is a little bitch but AT LEAST he has to risk his life for every single engage. Hell, even MASTER YI is vulnerable if you just happen to have the 5 seconds of chain CC to kill him. Yasuo can just pop W and leave. Again, which would be FINE if he was built around utility and mobility more than damage. But he's a utility/mobility champion with ridiculous damage. That's not fun.
What do I think? His passive should guarantee crits at an additional rate instead of doubling them. For example: Yasuo's critical strikes are not random. Instead, every 7 (-1 per 6% critical strike chance, capped at 2) basic attacks will give him a guaranteed critical strike for 110 (+5 per level until level 13 [170%])(+30% bonus AD)% damage. Getting 300 bonus AD (reasonable) gives him 260% crit damage. Fair enough if he only crits every other attack.
His Q should not have base damage for at least rank 1 and 2, but let the Q damage multiply with crit for ranks 3-5. 0/0/30/60/90 (+100% AD). Base damage can critically strike with Yasuo's passive.
His ult armor pen should be reduced to 30/40/50% instead of flat 50%.
Then again my opinion is worthless and this is just a rant so
