I really question how I'm supposed to get Keys as Support.
Half of my job is sacrificing my self to save the dumbass who just face checked dragon. So how and I supposed to avoid getting a crappy KDA? I've gone 0/5/23 and still only gotten a A-.

Keys are awarded for winning games. You could get a D and still earn a key fragment because your team managed to win. The only other known factor to influence drop rates is the amount of previous key drops you've had.
Grades are evaluated by champion AND role. It's a fair system for supports (and everyone else). You just didn't do a good enough job as a support.
KDA is not the sole determining factor of grades. Nowhere has Riot said that, people need to stop thinking this way.
Keys are from random wins. If you want an S as a support, you need to ward a lot, assist a lot, and roam a lot. On one of my games with Morgana, for instance, I got an S flat. I fed my 'lil Ashe until she could 1v2, then went to help other lanes, feeding them while "Double Kill!" was echoing from Bot. I roamed, warded, supported and won-ed
Your grade is based on your performance against others with the same champ/role. It's completely fair, just do better I guess.
