@~15mins per game It was so fast, quick and satisfying.
It allowed me to pick my champs unlike ARAM
It kept game mechanics similar enough to summoners rift unlike URF
It was short enough that I didn't mind rolling terrible teammates ( could even FF at 8 mins!)
It had varied events per game keeping things super fresh.
ARAM feels like a compromised lesser version of Nexus Blitz

I feel the opposite. Nexus Blitz felt like it took the most frustrating and/or least interesting aspects of all the other game modes and jammed them together: SR's laning, TT's snowballing, Dominion's non-intuitiveness, and ARAM's coinflips. Despite that, Blitz somehow wasn't terrible, yet it still wasn't particularly appealing.
