I like playing him but as the link describes, there's very low benefits for the amount of effort you have to put in.
Anyone have the latest news on him? I'm not looking for "He was OP for so long" I know he was. But we've seen in the past that Olafing a champioin is not the way to go.
I disagree, I find Kassedin to be very good in the current meta. His kit received numerous buffs in recent patches that more than make up for the range loss on his ult. I fully expect Kassadin to be played in pro play not only in the mid lane but also the top lane. If he were to receive more buffs the rift walker may become 100% pick/ban again, which I don't think anyone wants.
He occasionally shows up in competitive play still. He has the potential to destroy.
Buffing him is dangerous if even now he can still do that.
