I really hate it when ADCs start flourishing with an item made for another class.
Cause it feels like they're holding the item hostage with their gun being loaded with nerfs.
"If we don't get it, no one gets it!"

This is a funny thread considering "ADC in 2017" is a meme pointing to how they tend to get fkd by the power creep of other classes of champions. They try to tap into some of that power and that's suddenly a "bad" thing?
lmao
Considering how the meta usually revolves around who deals with the adc best, kinda. ADCs are meant to be hunted down and killed when they are weak because they have the strongest late game power.
As soon as they find a way to get to late game safely, they become hell to deal with throughout all game.
This is exactly why I was saying Yasuo shouldn't have those safety nets in the other thread.
"But he's melee" doesn't matter when he's so hyper mobile and ADCs seldom have more than one long cd dash.

A dash that doesn't require a minion and also has free harass from a distance.
You're really underestimating the power of ranged AA.
You missed a very important piece of that: LONG COOLDOWN
Also, only Ez gets the harass, and only when he does it near an enemy (losing his escape potential).
Try to cherry-pick if you like, but it only reduces my valuation of your opinion. The point was that Yasuo gets to dash A LOT, so his mobility is nowhere near as limited as ranged ADCs are--or even compared to other melee ADCs--and the majority of ranged ADCs don't even get a proper dash.
Because adc dashes are meant to be more utilized as escapes rather than engages.
By harass I literally mean their ranged AA. 500 range distance can mean a lot, especially when AA's are designed to not miss.
Yeah Yasuo's mobility is no where near as limited, it has different limits all its own.
You can say I'm cherry picking, idc. I'm just telling you why Yasuo's kit is designed as is and why it's meant to work like that.
And I'm telling you why designing it that way is problematic. You have yet to give a compelling counter-argument.
I have. You just ignore that ranged and melee have different ways of being balanced.
I haven't ignored that at all, but that itself isn't enough of an argument. When you compare Yasuo to other melee ADCs, he has a lot more than they do. He is the problem. He isn't balanced. It's very simple to understand. I'm really not sure how you don't.
I never said he didn't have more than they do.
I'm mainly arguing that making him go bruiser with his current level of mobility would be a much more unbalanced mess than he is currently.
You're looking exclusively at Yasuo's strenghts and comparing them exclusively to adc's weaknesses. Your argument has no spine; you're literally just saying "Yasuo is a problem because he's OP, and he's OP because he's better, and he's better just because he is".
Being melee is a huge diminishing factor. You put double crit scaling and a passive shield on any ranged marksman and they would break the game. But why is Yasuo sitting on a 49% win rate? He's hypermobile and has incredible damage scaling, wHaT cOuLd HiS wEaKnEsS pOsSiBlY bE?? Hmm, maybe it's the fact that his dash doesn't actually equate to having a ranged attack.
If you feel that way about it, it's because you don't understand what I'm saying. Trying to accuse me of something I'm not doing doesn't weaken my argument; it just shows your failure in understanding it.
"Melee vs Ranged" isn't the entire argument, and even if it were, it's still a weak one.
What exactly is the argument anymore?
ADCs can never be weak; the whole objective and teamcomp building relies on ADCs to properly function.
That's a lovely on-hit effect.
How much are you offering me to not get it nerfred during release week?
It really illustrates the flaws with crit tbh
I was never initially a fan of the anti-crit bandwagon but ice I saw adcs could actually function without it, I've really brightened up to the idea of crit being removed and adcs having a new stat that exponentially scales their damage while not being rng/pseudo-rng
Here we are again, only ADCs are big abusers. Because some Divers abusing Tank, Juggernaut and Assasin items at once are still being ignored.
Never said they didn't. ADCs just seem to get items nerfed more often.
?
I was going to say BC, but it isn't alone.
BC, edge, Steraks, ghostblade, Maw, etc.
Kinda wish we could get an adc item nerfed because it's too effective on non ADCs.
Start buying infinity edge on everything.
Wasn't Last Whisper Nerfed because it's % all armor pen was too good on assassins a while back?
It was too good against squishy targets when it was supposed to be an anti tank item.
Ah, I was thinking that would be like the only adc item in history to get nerfed because of non adc's.

I was just downvoted into oblivion for suggesting BC tweaks. Armor feels like shit lategame because there is so much goddamn shred in this game.
Because it was already tweaked for bruisers.
Because it was already tweaked for bruisers.
Which was a failure. +100 HP and -10 AD is not going to change anything.
It didn't just shave off AD, it swapped out war hammer for kindle gem to provide a less damage build path.
Sadly it didn't work because armor shred builds are just too good.

We agree. Armor shred is far too strong at the moment. MF is getting gutted little by little because her Ult instantly applies 30% total armor shred to your entire team. She can then buy whatever Lethality to deal even more damage to people without 300 armor. The result is 100-0ing your entire team from fog of war.
BC is being built too often on too many champs. It makes playing support tanks total shit.
But what should replace the armor shred?
But what should replace the armor shred?
LW just got a massive buff. I think ADCs are at the point that they have plenty of shred options. The problem is tank damage output. ADCs feel like they need massive options to burst tanks because tanks are bursting them. Tank damage down and disruption goes up, Shred becomes less of an urgent need.
I really hate it when it's gotten to the point that certain "classes" are only allowed to build very specific items instead of adapting to the game. Maybe League should go the way HotS has and get rid of items altogether, since having them serves no purpose when you can only use pre-approved options.
I would honestly support this because it's one of the reasons I like Hots.
A large part of League of Legends is the items. Without items, you would not have League of Legends anymore: you would have an entirely new game, never mind the huge scale of "reworks" they would have to do to make up for the loss of items.
I really fail to see how you could support this idea because it would not be the same game that you are criticizing.
How about they just stop making the items broken to the point that ADCs are lining up to buy health (old streaks), MR (EoN), or armor (ninjas - yea, I said it)?
There's still plenty of room to design items to help melees before you get to the point that it's attractive to a class that only buys damage.
Tabis really aren't broken. It's a reasonable reaction to an ad meta. Like buying a ga

I mean if you want to insult me you can at least explain your reasoning.

Kog'Maw? because what? rageblade or something? you know he does both magac and physical damage so that item is REALLY good for him? I guess we should nerf HP items because tanks are to hard for you children to kill.
I was actually referring more towards BC still being prominent in adc builds despite being changed to be better for bruisers. So shred+lethality ADCs still running a bit rampant while crit ADCs might still be a bit weak.
Rageblade and Kog hasn't been a problem in maybe months. And rageblade is a hybrid item so Kog using it isn't exactly abusing it.
What's with the aggression? Seriously buddy, take a chill pill. I may be complaining online, but it can't be healthy that your first reflex is to insult with accusations of mental disorders.
