Let's have a discussion on how to fix the problems with botlane.

ADCs themselves aren't weak. But they are lategame scalers.

With the current meta being extremely fast-paced, 4-5 man ganks in botlane are quite common. Dragon is botlane, botlane tower has no protections like the others, and First Blood Tower gold is a good advantage (as well as the gold that'd almost be certainly picked up from killing both the enemy ADC and support).

Therefore, they will never ever be allowed to hit any sort of decent power stride, giving the illusion of being weak overall, because they were never allowed to get past their weaker early game strength.

The whole concept of this in itself is problematic.

My ideas were originally removing FBTG and moving Dragon to toplane, and possibly giving botlane tower the protection as well if necessary. However, in regards to the Dragon change, someone had told me that it would just cause botlane to go toplane instead.

What thoughts do you all have on the matter?

I'd honestly find it interesting if they swapped dragon and Baron around, just to see what impacts it has on decision making :O

maybe instead of complaining about a perceived problem, why done we talk about how the best way to adapt to the new meta.

But that does make them weak. They're late game champs in a time where games average under 30 minutes. Another factor is that they're supposed to be the tank killer class at a time where tanks are far too strong.

Balance ADCs around the rest of the game and not just each other. In my opinion not all marksmen should have strong late games automatically, and a healthy game should not require them to be a mandatory pick.

I think it's fine as it is - it will force a meta shift. ADCs will sitll always have a place on a team, but they won't be forced to go bot lane with a babysitter every game, maybe.

Maybe people will be encouraged to pick strong early game laners in bot lane, or those who can waveclear quickly.

Let people figure out how to deal with it, rather than begging Riot to cater to what has historically been the most babied class of champions in the roster since the beginning of time.
