You should give watching the lcs a try at least once. I had the same attitude till i casually watched some games and ive picked up a ton of little tricks that improved my game. Still dont play ranked though, rip solo q :<

Oh, don't get me wrong. I have watched some LCS tournaments, and I always watch the last one of the season since I started at League two years ago. I have learned things from them, my problem is I just get bored and stop paying attention. I find it way easier to become engrossed playing games (any type of game) then watching them. The only type of actual League watching I can tolerate well is people who compile comedic stuff like Wood Division Adventures or Darkk Mane. To be honest my placement in Ranked would probably improve if I just played Ranked, but I haven't even finished my promos this year and I have already played well over 100 games on Summoner's Rift alone. I just have never enjoyed Ranked, as I have never had good experiences with it.

To be honest, I play worse after watching guides, streams, and LCS games because I end up thinking I actually have a team that follows up or takes advantage of opportunities with split-second decision making. When I start to remember that I can only rely on myself, I start winning again.

Personally I wouldn't recommend watching LCS if your idea is getting better. If you want to examine their mechanics, it's fine, their mechanics are near-perfect relative to the rest of the players of this game, but I believe game knowledge and knowing what to do when is more important, and to be perfectly honest, LCS doesn't accurately depict your average ranked game. Watching someone who just plays ranked games can be both more enjoyable and probably teach you more useful lessons if your goal is climbing.

That is an overstatement. People make Tyler out to be this constant rager. Some games he doesn't chat anything, some games he's actually encouraging, some games he's too focused on his own play. And, in some games he's just passive aggressive rather than straight salty or hating.

Regardless though, the way he presented him self and acted just spoke out rager. It's hard to find one of his videos on YouTube where he's not talking shit or raging. It's generally one or the other, neither being good for the environment of the game. My only problem with passive aggressive is that many times I see it as just as bad, it's an awkward state where both sides are secretly hating each other and can't say it, a state of staleness. Sure, some games he doesn't type in chat, but because he's recording people can still see what he's saying. If someone of your team just made a bad play and you pm your duo partner or talk trash out of game then it's generally ok. But if you do that while recording people can see you shit talking, and what they can see is what matters.

Dunno, his good games to bad is like (let's say) Meteos' bad to good. A bucket of water in a wildfire doesn't do much.

Its also out of context. Is that his friend? A lot of people he play with behave "troll-like" and speak that way. Just listen to him and sneaky when they talk together on stream. If he typed that, that could be a friend. If it wasn't and they reported, he would have gotten a chat restriction, at least. Unless it was one singular moment.

The only one who is embarrassing himself is you and the other Tyler fanboys. They are probably toxic but considering what I've seen Tyler is much worse, plus they not being banned isn't justification for him being pardoned for the twentieth time. Also consider that he was reported by other master players, so after a while the system banned him, but when it progressed to a perma ban, then Riot reviews it personally so he doesn't get banned by mistake, which I am certain wasn't one.
