Is it just me or is Ekko bad/weak?

I know im no pro at Ekko, let alone the game itself, but I've played quite a few games as him and i've got my own little "mechanics" and combos ( like using my ult to proc his passive and W at the same time (it feels so satisfying to pull off) but i cant help but feel like hes not that good of an actual assassin. Like if i were to look at most of the popular assassins, deleting the enemy team's marksmen is a simple and easy task. But with him it seems like a lot of them destroy him lategame UNLESS he lands his ult (before they kill him) and stun. Is it just me? Am i building wrong or something? Also is he stil capable of 1 shotting squishies with his ult after his nerfs?

Ekko isn't a straight assassin. He likes to skirmish, and clean up. He wears you down, THEN he assassinates you. That's why he's so good from behind.

If you're having trouble running up to a squishy and deleting them from 100-0, it means you either aren't ridiculously fed, or Ekko is a balanced champion.

If u have enough ap u can still do a bunch of dmg with ur ult.. but he's by no means a LeBlanc like assassin.

The other AP assassins in the game can get all of their damage out in a quick burst, Ekko's damage is far slower than theirs, what with having to wait for his Q to come back, his W's passive damage doesn't happen until a certain threshold, his ult is something you have to put time into positioning correctly. This gives more time for the enemy team to see what he's doing and focus him down

Leblanc can get out everything on her kit in a short span of time, as can Ahri, so they kill people faster

i just bought ekko. am playing him half tank. dead mans and spirit visage or banshees. really good. and i like devoure on him. lich bane. sorcerer shoes and rabadons.
