Updated BoRK is waaaay too frontloaded

Title pretty much sums it up. For an item that has a maximum price threshold of 800 gp, and costs noticeably less than the other "heavy hitters" for bot-lane (item 3031 or item 3078 , depending on who you're talking to), it hits overwhelmingly hard.

Since most ADCs have decidedly low Magic Resist for the majority of the game, that 100 magic damage is almost all dealt with every attack, making it extremely difficult to trade effectively (Read: at all) with someone who rushed item 3153 (This is especially obvious on champs that deal additional damage revolving around landing basic attacks.. ahem... Kalista).

It kind of feels like Riot is wanting to bring back the hyper carries in the ADC role rather than the utility ones that are currently strongest.

RIP Ashe Jhin Varus , welcome back Jinx Kalista Vayne

Except it got nerfed?

They switched the stats around and gutted the active, this is not a buff.

And the passive deals physical damage, not magic.

It's meant to become a core rush item now.

Riot1: Some ADCs are way too strong right now. We need a solution. Riot2: Let's nerf Deathfire for Varus, Jhin and MF! Riot1: Aren't we forgetting someone though? Riot2: Meh. Buff Bork a bit so auto attackers can see some light. Riot1: I still feel like we're forgetting someone.

Meanwhile all Ezreal mains are laughing.

Edit: Not sure if any other adc has a super high pick rate right now. But Ik for a fact Ez Varus Jhin and MF are up there. Feels like they nerfed 3/4 only.

I am so confused by this post -- how does it deal 100 damage on every attack? It's an active which you can only use once every 90 seconds.

Just gonna point this out here: I can't read. I thought the active change was a passive change, so my complaint here is really kind of moot.
