AD Kennen: Tips?

I've been seeing more of this lately. Last match I had, our Kennen went AD and completely dominated the bot lane. They then proceeded to carry the match rather easily, ending with a score of 13/4/13 and most damage dealt. This is with a Kha, LB and Malph on the other team. I also went against one myself and struggled an awful lot in the laning phase. Actually, I got creamed in the laning phase. Fortunately I was able to outplay him macro wise and contributed to our win.

Here's some items I have seen on him: (did not finish this last item so I'm not sure if they were going for Titanic or mallet)

He hurt a lot and was also able to escape a lot as well. It also seemed rather easy for him to proc his stun, then proceed to AA for a huge chunk before backing off (sometimes using E as their escape). I found it difficult to deal enough damage, but maybe it was just the champ I was using. Anyway, is there something I'm missing here? Is he too strong with this build path, or do I just need to pick a better champ? Tips / experiences are appreciated.
