Can you please stop going TP Ignite?

I don't care if you go Flash-Ignite, Flash-Ghost, Flash-Teleport, Ghost-Smite, Ghost-Barrier.. Omg, just please don't go TP Ignite anymore..

TP Smite is one thing, but it's ONLY good on certain champions.

TP Ignite, however, is not. (And oh my LORD when I see people go TP Heal I wanna break their neck..) I am tired of seeing Jax, Fiora, Jayce, Gnar, Garen, GALIO, Tryndamere, Nasus, Pantheon, Wukong (ALL OF WHICH I HAVE SEEN DO THIS) go Teleport Ignite.. There is a reason that we take mobility spells, and teleport is by no means a mobility spell. Flash gives you more options. You don't want to play more aggressive and have no means of escape, you wanna play safely and get out of that turret dive when you murder their faces.

Inherently immobile champions NEED that mobility spell to get out of sticky situations, otherwise you end up feeding.

Sure, you may have one or two good games with TP Ignite.. But that's because you were simply better than your opponent. Flash and Ghost are for when you're not, and you can outplay them.

I have seen time, after time after time, people going TP Ignite and feeding their lanes.. Then I tell them it's because they have no flash, then they flame me. Just get a clue.. Holy crap.

Well champs with high mobility work like Hecarim and I would think Fiora because she has that lunge ability and a increase movement speed spell no?

Hecarim is fine, Shyvana is fine, even Shen can be fine..

But Fiora and the other ones I listed are NOT, because once they get stuck on an opponent.. They can't get out.

So what, if you take ignite you go all or nothing then. fiora is fine with it, let alone TP smite. that red smite doh lol.

Im thinking here some of the champs you listed have abilities not to run but to escape, MonkeyKing e and w, Tryndamere spin move, Gnar and Jax jump, but i see reason for it with Jayce in the least.

Whether or not they have options is completely irrelevant. There's such thing as CC, and you can't make it out of CC with dashes. Dashes can be interrupted, flash cannot.

well wouldnt that mean tp and ignite is irrevelant on all top laners then, since it wouldn't matter if you had lunge or increase movement speed you would be hit by cc(unless of course flash).

While that is true, but he did say Hecarim Shyvana is alright due to the fact that they both have a skill that gives them a high movement speed buff, and their ultimate which is also good at escaping. I feel for champions who have a more reliable way to escape, like more reliable escapes or more escapes can get away with TP Ignite etc. Fiora only has a dash which is limited to an enemy, same with champions like Akali. Jax could be argued but it's better to use Flash since it would greatly help they're sticking power.

Which brings up another point of it...You should have flash unless you have a more reliable way to jump on an enemy. Again Hecarim and Shyvana has a movement speed buff AND a form of Dash/jump. So they can get on and some what stick to enemies even without having flash.

If you are a bronzie, it matters in bronze.

If you're a smurf from plat in bronze, you can do whatever the hell you want. But if you wanna make it out of bronze, play what is effective and MAKES SENSE.

I find flash isn't essential on champions with dashes that don't require other units(minions, monsters, champions, friendly and enemy or just one), but it is good sometimes.

So like, Aatrox Ekko Ezreal Fizz Gnar Gragas Khazix Leblanc Nidalee Renekton Riven Sejuani Shaco Shen Tryndamere Zed JarvanIV Kassadin

Sometimes even Caitlyn Corki Graves Lucian Azir Lissandra Tristana

But personally I'll always take flash on champs without dashes, or with dashes that require units, like, Akali Amumu Braum Diana Fiora Irelia Jax Jayce Kalista Katarina Maokai MasterYi Quinn Talon MonkeyKing XinZhao Yasuo

And sometimes I'll take them on mobile champs like Shyvana

I see your reasoning here, but dont forget tp is great to start teamfights when your far away or to break up a bad one and ignite is good to apply heal reduction on champs like Aatrox , Tryndamere and the various adcs that heal with their lifesteal builds.

True. But personally I think its all playstyle. So, personally, I'm probably not going to try and 1v1 a Tryndamere if I get matched up against one. I'll probably play passively and let him push to tower until I get a gank then probably push to his real fast, and go roam somewhere if he doesn't TP back, so I wouldn't take ignite anyway due to that. But then again, some people actually can 1v1 a Tryndamere and win with the right skill, exploiting weaknesses, etc. Like, I once went Garen vs Tryndamere and that was one of the few times I actually tried to keep lane with a Tryndamere. I harassed for every CS he took, silenced him so he couldn't E out and E'd myself for lots of poke and eventually when he got low, I'd burst him with my ult before he could. Eventually though he took that and worked it out to ult when I'm within a certain range and just try to stay away, but eventually I took hold of that and made it seem like I was going to ult to bait it out, then do it after it was over.

So yeah. Play style. Lol.

Ok so you should think then that the person does best with a tp and ignite spells regardless of what champ they chose for top lane because of their playstyle, of course the ones you played with seemed to benefit more from a flash and did not like someone else telling them that.

Let's see which champions from this list I'd be fine with them going Teleport Ignite. oh wait none of them...Though I feel some could be argued to be "ok" without having Flash and that's Jax, and Tryndamere but that really is only depending on the lane match up and team comp imo. I find it funny that people would even think of playing Galio without Flash...Galio is probably one of the most flash reliant champion in the game..without flash it's almost impossible to get in position for a good ultimate lol. Gnar could maybe be argued ok without it but Flash just makes Gnar stronger and a far more reliable tool for initiation for his ult (If he already turned Mega before he could Jump-Transform etc).

Honestly, the only champions I feel could do well without Flash would be..Fizz Hecarim Shen Shyvana

Though I also feel these champions might be fine without it..in some situations, but not all situations.Aatrox Gnar Jax Shaco Trundle Tryndamere

A Shaco that takes flash is a cowardly Shaco who is wasting his potential, IMO.

Only Play Darius1 votes

Darius needs the DOT to stack with his DOT to get an insane DOT that usually gets him first blood and allows him to snowball.

He also needs teleport because it is mandatory on top laners.
