What actually loses you games

Talking. Talking loses you games.

I can guarantee that in games that you're especially angry/chatty you spent at least 6 entire minutes total.. Talking to your teammates or enemies. Do you have any idea what kind of time that can take away from your focus? 6 minutes alone is huge, but imagine how demoralizing it is to your teammates and how tilted you get when you're angry. Communication is good, don't get me wrong.. But when you're salty and people are being mean or you're being mean, just stop talking.

I've done it before and it lost me games. I stopped talking as much, kept being positive and it won me games. Hard.

The mute button is there for a reason. And guess what? There's a magical command: "/mute all".

Use it.

Not upgrading trinkets loses you games as well.

1+ for /muteall newbie summoner here didn't know that yet

Most games I lose have either someone who whines/fights for their role/lane/champ, easily aggros, too trigger happy or defeatist. You know you're gonna win or have a good game when someone dies and everyones ok with it.

Gangplank But... But... The lilly livered scallywags... How can I play as the saltiest dog on the 'Igh seas if I don't talk like a pirate every 2 minutes?

Whenever I see someone typing on the enemy team, I go for the kill immediately. People need to learn: Don't fucking type. Especially not in lane. And especially not in All chat to complain about your team.

The only times I even type are when I'm dead or asking something short and quick to my team. Any other time is too much.

Not always, I remember last season i had a completely silent game post champ select then out of no where Cassiopeia just decided she wanted to leave. This has happened more then once in the past and perturbs me immensely.

Im sure not angry chatting will stop that support who decided to troll from following their jungle around trying to steal all the monster last hits, following them on ganks and all in resulting in feeding.... but so long as you dont angry chat at them, you will still win that match...

That was what happend to the enemy team in my last ranked match, their Lux support decided to fuck with their Lee Sin so he couldnt jungle, and of course left their Draven to a solo lane, and she fed on every gank by chasing us under turret...

If only they hadnt angry chatted at her because she didnt want to support, they would have won.

For most matches I agree with you though, but angry chatting at people is just a symptom of a troll throwing the match.

Talking usually comes after the fact when somebody failed and fed the enemy already... so it's the feeding what loses you games.

Most of my communication comes in the form of pings. I ping on my way in response to a jungler or other champion coming to gank basically to confirm that I heard him. If I'm the ganker, I ping on my way twice (when I make the decision to do so and when I'm halfway there) and the attack signal once when I'm ready to go in. I really only talk if I'm waiting for the champion to arrive at their destination, or when I'm waiting to respawn.
