I see this way too often.
Every game if I see someone type "This champ is op" they get called a noob because apparently if you think a certain way about this game that doesn't match up with what a "how to get good" video tell you that means you're wrong. In every "get to Diamond" video I've seen they always say the same things, "ward more, No champ is op, if you died it's your fault, etc. Most of what they are saying gets me so frustrated because people follow this advice like it's some sort of written fact.
Let's start off with "ward more". As it is true that warding is one way of helping your team and yourself. It is **NOT** something that makes you gank proof. Let's say you spend 150 on two wards for each side of mid. Then you get ganked by J4 or WW from a different route. Now you're dead, you spent 150 gold for nothing and gave up 300+ gold to your opponents and now you're missing out on **MORE** gold plus xp from that death.
Now onto "No champ is OP". Every patch champs get nerfed or buffed and new items come out depending on what riot wants to do. This means there will almost always be "OP" picks in every game. for example: in Patch 4.20 new jungle changes occurred and made it harder to jungle which made sustain champs become more prevalent in the meta. this included Warwick, Fiddle, Udyr, etc. all of these champs were really strong before the changes and now are even stronger mostly because of all of the new items and changes. Warwick and now smite ult somebody for an instant kill which in my opinion is an Anti-fun mechanic which needs to be looked at soon.
The last one I want to talk about is "If you died, it's your fault" This can be truthful and it can be totally out of your control if you died. It all depends on the match and situation. Dying because you tower dived or got caught in the enemy jungle, that is your fault. Dying because you got CC'd to death is *NOT* your fault in my opinion.
In the end I want to say that Don't Follow some Diamond one YouTuber like they're the master of all tricks and secrets and keep your mind open to learning whatever you can about your play and how to improve on your own. Using a Wiki or learning from in game knowledge will really help you more then any high elo Youtuber can. Try to ignore those Sheep who call you a noob because you have a different opinion on a topic about this game. Because at the end of the day, The only person that know's if you need to improve is you.
TL;DR: Ignore those who dis your skill level because you have a different opinion than them and leave them in the dust while you succeed. ![]()
, and your team can punish him with death. Now they have no jungle and you can grab a objective. Thinking your death is not your fault is admitting defeat, if you feel that way use the surrender button.
