What would make Yasuo acceptable?

What changes would make Yasuo acceptable to the community?

I believe a good start would be having his ultimate not place him away from the enemy turret when diving and having his wall work like Yorick's cage, where it can only take a certain amount of damage before being destroyed.

Players complain about his crit chance passive and want it gone but no one ever suggests what should replace it. It's the main source of his damage so just wanting it gone without compensation doesn't make too much sense imo. Maybe changing the scaling so he doesn't reach 100% with just 2 items?

People will complain about him no matter what riot does, they could completely change his kit but simply being yasuo they will find something to complain about

You know what's worse than having an ability destroyed? Having it destroyed by someone who threw out a panic Wind Wall the wrong direction. How about having to aim the ability, the same as Braum? Let him dash through it afterwards, just don't have it start it covering his back.

Honestly, the spammable no-resource Q and E make him feel so weird to face. Like he's in the wrong game.

It's like if OoT Link fought against the protagonist of Dark Souls. Two swordsman on the outside, sure. But Link is doing infinite rolls and dodges with a magic backpack full of sweet items, while Dark Souls Bro is ponderously strafing around while trying to manage his endurance bar. It just doesn't feel right pitting the two against each other.

I dunno what I'd change, to be honest. Yas's Q and E are fundamental to his kit, so gutting or removing them seems unacceptable.

Things is, dark souls bro fought ornstein and smough, and lived.

Link coulda blocked their swings infinitely, then rolled around and poked them to death. And Fairy'd back to life if he fucked up.

It shouldn't need replacing, the mechanic is toxic. Just give him back his normal crit damage and remove the double crit. Also let his Q crit for the full amount instead of only 75%.

Have fun with Tank Yasuo then. I'm sure everyone, like you, would want his return.

Except without the double crit he doesn't do anywhere near as much damage with a tank build. The problem with Tank Yasuo was that he could have his tank items and still matter because he was rocking 60% crit for most of the game. 30% crit isn't NEARLY enough to consistently kill people. I would wholeheartedly welcome tank Yasuo over the current bruiser build he still gets away with right now

.... ............ You do know he had a critless tank build a year ago? Frozen Force, it was called. Tri Force rush into Frozen Mallet into FULL TANK, No crit anywhere. This was a main build (especially top lane) for many many patches until Riot basically forced him to go back to crit. The Frozen Force build was COMPLETELY UNINTETNIONAL. Don't talk if you don't know anything.

Now, I'm sure you would love having the Samurai have more stick potential than his normal build while being tankier AND dealing enough damage to continue killing with ease, but not everyone with a brain would. I, a Yasuo main, certainly do not want to see a Frozen Force return, or anything that would be similar.

Nope, Trinity Force had crit back then. That's why the build worked in the first place. Once they removed it, it became way less popular. Condescension isn't for everyone. Usually just smart people.

Umm, no. They removed the crit before frozen force became a thing.

The reason the build worked was because yasuo's ult didn't require crit to get armor pen, making the tank build much more viable than the crit build due to pure survivability.

By removing his only damage steroid, you make yasuo players choose between being a really shitty melee caster, or being a slightly more shitty, but more survivable bruiser/tank

If you dont know what you are talking about, please don't post at all till you fact check everything you try to put out as fact

... Tri Force did not have crit at the time when Frozen Force was popular. And even if it did (which, again, I assure you, it did not when Frozen Force Yasuo was dominating: The Yasuo main in this discussion who was admittedly abusing Frozen Force back then), his crit chance would not hit 60% like you suggested before, it would only hit 40%, which sucks (there's a reason people rush Zeal item instead of Infinity Edge).

The changes made to deter Frozen Force Yasuo was literately intended to push him back towards crit chance, this change being the one where only Critical strikes apply the 50% bonus armor pen given to him by his ult.

Now, please do tell, why would they make a change that's clearly intended to push him back to crit chance if he was still rocking 60%, as you claim he was?

At this point, Yasuo is filling the slot that use to be all about Irelia, but for different reasons. Some will accept him, others will deny him. It's all white noise in the end.

make wind wall not spawn on top of himself. kinda silly that he can throw it behind him and still block spells coming from his front. really the only grievance i have with the champion but it's not a big deal anyway

-Make Q less spamable or at least take damage from it. -Fix windwall hitbox (it's bullshit) and make it have HP so it can be destroyed. -Give him a dash independent of enemy units, but with higer cd Not real complaints about R.

Change his windwall. Make its size the same but only change duration with rank.
