Inting Sion proves one thing now.

Towers are too weak and have alot problems that show really makes it apparent.

Doesnt help that Sion is basically the new Singed but more durable and does actual damage to towers with his ult and can continue to break the tower along side it. Pair that with Demolish rune and Sions infinitely scaling health.

I'm not saying to nerf Sions tower damage but something has to be done.

I do suggest that Demolish needs to be addressed and Sion ult damage to towers could also use a small nerf.

A side from that. It never hurts to buff towers along side it.

That's all I can say. I'm getting a bit tired of the new Sion strategy

Sion’s ult Damage to towers honestly isn’t that much.

It tells me that you can even legitimately run it down in this meta and still win.

S8 ftw

I think instead of nerfing sion they should buff the minion-less damage reduction. Currently 66.6% less damage when no enemy minions nearby, buff it to 80%

Sion should be able to nuke a turret if he is there with minions just like anyone else does, but not when he ults in without them

Inting sion only proves 1 thing; People dont value objectives enough, and when something that has always existed and been played for years becomes famous people lose their shit learning k/d/a means nothing and LoL isnt a team deathmatch.

Nerf resolve + inspiration combo. Hopefully this gets fixed with the new rune system where you customize interaction beetween trees.

Darius -I’ll smash the enemies right back to where they came Sion -I smash Darius -? Sion-I smash Sion-I smash tower. Darius -Wot Sion -Lemme smash Darius -No Sion -Lemme smash Darius -No Sion -ok.

Later Sion -I smash tower.

This is what happens when you have a tower killing ability when the towers are already weakened to tissue paper with a tanky champion.

Lazy fix: Remove this as a strategy. Better fix: Make towers tougher overall so they can't be easily rushed down and act as an actual defensive position.

This really does seem like the old Singed strategies, except Singed runs away to troll a few seconds later, and he was tanky enough to need 2-3 people to respond, allowing the rest of the team more room.

i say just make it so when sion is in his passive he does a % less to towers from all sources even items

III HoRuS III10/11/2018, 2:16:21 PM2 votes

nerf his passive with a cooldown , problem solved !

FCJAAAAGOOOO10/11/2018, 10:32:55 PM2 votes

How about giving towers some passive hp regen?

It doesn't have to be a lot of regen either. It would makes Sion's afk tower killing a little less effective and makes it more difficult for lanes to finish off a tower with their jungler in one push.

Honestly Demolish is kind of a broken rune. We're talking about something that isn't even a Keystone with the ability to destroy a tower in a single push at full health. It allows people to itemize for teamfights while still having insane splitpushing ability. I could see it being a Keystone but when it's just sitting under the Resolve tree it's a no brainer cause the tradeoffs for this ability are minimal.

how about not being able to proc demolish when his passive is active? or make turrets non-targetable while his passive is active?

Does anyone know how to beat this strat? is 2 people chain CC him the only option?

Z3Sleeper10/11/2018, 1:30:15 PM1 votes

Imo the problems are:

  • Overgrowth granting % bonus max health. They should change it to be like Steraks and only grant % bonus health for health from items (buff the % ofcourse). .
    • This will both nerf the strat and make it a more viable rune for other champions instead of being a Sion/Cho exclusive rune. .
  • Tower damage (ramp up damage) is too low. .
    • Obvious reason to buff it. More damage = less time he can stand there ignoring it. .
  • Revert his W buff. .
    • It was just as unnecessary as buffing Mundo's ult and is one of the key reasons this strategy works.

I don't think Demolish is the problem, as noone else is abusing it. The above changes solve the issue on their own and change Overgrowth to be a healthier, more viable rune.

The only way to counter that Strategy is to pick Yasuo against him , ignoring that Yasuo is perma banned , this Int Sion will force you to 4v4 since Yasuo has to clear Sion's shit every time

I hate how everytime we get some new strategy, people do nothing but complain, sure sometimes it is understandable like when funneling got big. But people complaining here and asking for nerfs to Sion's turret damage is just like the people who freaked out about non marksmen in bot. Fine, oppose change and leave us stagnant. Blegh.

Sion's NOT over powered!!!

I am Sion OTP and he got MASSIVELY nerfed at the beginning of the season with the tank nerf!

If he was so OP why is his win % @51 from plat to bronze?

His kit is SO unreliable and all the bonus he gets from runes are miniuscule when u look a the whole match.

For his "infinite" hp scaling to benefit him u need to ONLY build hp and demolish only gives 30% of the hp as bonus damage, hardly game changer.
